Very good product,does the works

Great price for the amount and it's easily available. Easy to dispense. Not much instructions on exactly how much and where to apply it, but it's really just needed in the splines of the bit to help lubrication back and forth so it doesn't seize if it's never been lubricated and then gets brick or stone dust in it grinding it. Not really needed on the end that gets hammered, but a little ending up there doesn't hurt. From what I'd read elsewhere I was expecting it to be black/dark grey grease which contains moly (to be rubber safe) but it looks like normal lithium grease. I expect this is compatible with the rubber sleeve on the SDS chuck of my Bosch drill, as it is made by Bosch and I presume it is universal, not just for one model of drill. I've never used grease on my SDS shanks up to now, although light use of the drill for drilling and chiselling over the years, I thought I'd better start using it. First use on a 5.5mm bit for a few small holes in brick, appeared to help with lubrication of the drill chuck and feel of drilling, the hammering sound was just slightly less harsh metallic sounding which I think is a good sign. It will ast a while because you don't need much, just on the splines. Maybe less than half a pea spread across all the splines. I will probably add a small amount to each size of bit and chisel (I have a few) as I use them to keep them lubed but they don't need it every time.

I've used this to keep my Bosch SDS ticking along nicely, I've also used it for my SDS Max breaker and it's held up well there too. The tube is small considering the price but it doesn't take much to get the job done so it's lasting well.

It's grease and it greases moving parts so does the job as intended. Considering it's Bosch branded it wasn't stupidly expensive either

This seems really difficult to get hold of at a good price, so was pleased to spot it at a reasonable price on Amazon. Have used it a few times and a little goes a long way. Planning to use it to lubricate a SDS chisel to remove floor tiles on a lounge of a house my son has bought- why tiles in a lounge??!

It works well

I bought this to lubricate the drill bits on my SDS plus rotary drill. First impressions were that this Bosch lube is good but the tube is quite small. The lubricant itself is the usual greenish petroleum grease - it is reasonably thin which is welcome as it is used on a electrical drill and thicker/heavier lube would likely gunge-up the internal workings over time. It doesn’t smell which indicates a better quality product. So far it has worked well and l am happy with it save for the small size of the tube which is a little disappointing however with this lube a little goes a long way. Recommended.

Works great with my DeWalt SDS. No smell and moves around the chuck easily.

Always a good idea to keep some extra sds grease with your drill and bits. Helps to lengthen the life of your tools.

Das Spezialfett wurde an einem SDS-Bohrer benutzt. Es hat sich bewährt, speziell bei der Verschleißreduzierung der Werkzeuge. Vor dem Einspannen lässt sich das Fett leicht auftragen, sodass auf dem Schaftende mit dem Finger das Produkt verteilt werden kann. Dabei muss nicht zu viel verwendet werden, außerdem birgt es sonst die Gefahr das Fett im Werkzeug herausgedrückt wird. Beim Arbeiten kann zwischendurch geprüft werden, ob die Werkzeuge zwischenzeitlich nachgefettet werden müssen. Die Überhitzung hat sich durch das benetzte Fett merklich gemindert. Das Produkt enthält keine Silikone, Harze und PTFE's und ist damit für SDS-Systeme gut geeignet. Bei intensiver Nutzung von entsprechenden Arbeiten empfiehlt es sich die Werkzeuge regelmäßig zu schmieren, für den privaten Gebrauch ist die Paste ergiebig genug.
