I’ve been really impressed with this knife set so far! I purchased for my husband as he has always wanted Japanese Kitchen knives but I could never find good quality for a good price. The knives feel sturdy and well balanced in your hand, and the handles are comfortable to hold while prepping meals. They are very sharp and make chopping vegetables and slicing meat much easier. They are extremely well priced as well! I also love the look of them, the dark handles and overall design make them feel much more high-end than I expected. The three different knives are useful for everyday cooking without taking up a ton of space like a large knife block set. Overall, I think this is a great set for someone looking to upgrade their kitchen knives or as a gift for someone who enjoys cooking. Just be careful when using them because they are definitely sharp! 🔪

Update: After my original review ( see below) I was contacted by customer service and refund was offered. I declined since I will be using half of the knives. I did receive a different block , which is very nice and much , much better and solid than the first one. I have been using it several days now and no signs of ware so far. I like it. I do have to say that the customer service is superior. The representative was super professional and pleasant to work with. Not only initiated the conversation but followed up on every step during the process. Original review: This set was very nice out of the box. I love all the long knives and the sharpener on the side. However, the block isn’t made to last. It showed signs of use within first day. I also feel that the serrations on the steak knives are too aggressive. Bigger isn’t always better , I guess. It seems as if I am wrestling with my steak when using them and I find myself reaching for the long peeler/ paring knife instead, which by the way is doing a magnificent job. So I resurrect my old knife block and purchased a set of steak knives without serration

Love love love. I’m not a big butcher block person when it comes to knives but this one has a sharpener on the side so I left my knives in it and it kind of blends right in with everything on my kitchen. I love the knives I’m scared of them cause they’re extremely extremely sharp, but they’re very nice little on the heavy side but very nice

Takes a great edge and stays sharp longer than my other name brand knife. At first the handle was too slick to get a secure grip, but with time and washings that got better. It's on my list to buy a second one.

My husband loves this knife! It fits perfectly in his hand and he says his wrist doesn't get sore even after long use. It seems a bit heavier for me as I have small hands. It has a very good sharp blade and does a terrific job!

Great quailty for the (sale) price. A light sharpening now and then keeps it very sharp. My main kitchen knife. Good balance and comfortable to hold. Looks great too.
