Simple and cheap. Works as advertised

Great deal for SIX hygrometers. They are fairly accurate. A must have for those who want to keep tabs on humidity levels for health and maintenance of musical instruments, etc. I have one next to my cello and in the bedroom to make sure that I keep an eye on the humidity level where it matters.

Not completely accurate (see photo of them all together with different measurements) - so I would not recommend in areas where accuracy is importance such as animal or delicate plant habitats etc. However, they are close enough to get the gist of the information for indoor and outdoor spaces, and for that I give 4 stars

Small and good

I bought a set of 6. When I received them, and opened the box, only four were working and they all had moderately different humidity levels displayed, although the temperatures were pretty close to each other. After I set the four that were working out on a table together for an hour, they did all get much closer to each other in terms of similarity of humidity readings. I don't know how accurate those readings were, because I don't have any other hygrometers to compare them to. Then I tried to get the remaining 2 to work. One has never worked, despite trying new batteries. The other worked for a day or two when I put new batteries in it. And then died. I am not going to waste any more batteries in that one. So...4 out of 6 at least display similar numbers to each other, and are still running after several months. They are in some pretty damp environments, although I am careful to avoid getting water directly on them. (terrariums with pitcher plants) EDITED: The company contacted me and offered to send me some additional hygrometers. The new ones arrived very quickly, and I have to say...these are all working perfectly. I still don't have any way to check their accuracy independently, since they are the only hygrometers that I have...but they are all within a point of each other (and the working ones from the original batch) when placed in a group on a table. And all seem to have functional batteries. I am thinking that my original purchase and review might have been based on hygrometers that had a rough time in the mail, or had a bad batch of batteries. These new ones are fine!

These hygrometers are a great deal for the price. Check out the photo—the one on the right has desiccant beads in it and it’s reading a lower humidity percentage, while the one on the left (no beads) is showing a higher reading. They’ve been sitting next to each other in the same spot for about two weeks now, and the difference stays steady. That makes total sense: the desiccant is pulling moisture out of the air inside its little chamber, so it reads drier, and the one without is just showing the real room humidity. Honestly, the fact that they’re both holding stable and behaving exactly how you’d expect gives me a lot of confidence they’re accurate. Super happy with these for the money.

These little Hygrometers are great. I used them in my Grove bags while curing. They are the perfect size to go into your curing bags or a mason jar. Highly recommend.

Good for jumping spider enclosures or other small invertebrates. Not perfectly accurate but gives a good enough estimate.

These work great for my filament. They are very accurate

We needed multiple thermometers to balance the heating in a large house. Also the humidity. Essentially this budget collection did the job but with the following provisos: The speed of registration can be slow. The units supply various results even when together on a table-top, with as a rule one or two of them off by a couple of degrees. There is no mounting provision, and it you attach velcro tape to the back you might obscure the air-flow access holes. The units were apparently mass-produced for panel-mounting, for which the prongs are still present in the periphery of the case. No big deal. The thermometer is over-sensitive to sun rays, and you may find that while you are comfortable at your keyboard the nearby unit shows the temperature to be 95 degrees. Each unit is powered by two AG13 button cells.

These are obviously not highly scientific devices, but they are accurate enough for my intended uses. Each one is a little bit "off" from the next, even when placed together in the same space for an extended period. But none were very far off the mark and readings between each device showed only about +/- 1%. Close enough for the price!!

Feel very cheap and none of them display the same numbers but if you wanna get rough approximation, works probably fine ?!
