What is the difference between the black and silver pair besides the price?

I don’t think it’s a racial thing, but just a preference by style.

Will this work for an actual haircut and not just a trim?

These are thinning shears. If you want to shape a tuft of hair so that it is thinner toward the ends than near the roots, this is what these shears do. Or, if you want to give more 'lift,' you can thin some of the hair close to the roots to give support for the longer strands.

They seem to be rust proof. I keep mine in the bathroom and they are fine.

I have big hands; how big are the finger holes!?

The ID of the thumb hole is 14/16", the other is 3/4"
