Polly The Insulting Parrot Motion Activated Offensive Adult Talking

While I would not put "Polly" in a home with impressionable kids, it is probably the funniest bird I've ever seen for adults and definitely a conversation piece. It's voice is similar to Don Rickles. My favorite line? "Give Polly a ******* cracker!" Cracks me up every time he says it.

I wanted to be silly and needed to get something cheap for my mom's birthday. I only expected him to insult my mother. I was not expecting him to ask her for certain "favors", but my mom still liked it like the sick but kindhearted woman she is. She was more insulted by her other gift that was a tracking device. Yeah mom, you should have been more insulted by the parrot. Stop losing your stupid keys. We aren't going to help you find them anymore. Good product for what it is. I can't say anything for its lifespan, since I kind of just hung it on the dining room door and I leave it turned off. I'm going to randomly turn it back on and scare people with it. It'll be fun.

I ordered one for an event, and it didn’t work, so I ordered a second one just in case the first was just defective. The second one arrived, and initially didn’t work, then after several hours, it started to talk. Weird, however, after about the first hour it quit talking again. Over the next day, it would start and stop, but the voice became less and less understandable. Not a good product.

This is the perfect gift for anyone with a sense of humor. My husband and I move it around the house to surprise each other with inappropriate heckling from his silly parrot.

Perhaps I got a defective unit, but you can walk by it 20 times and it won't say anything. I have to pick it up and turn it upside down before it may finally decide to say something but that defeats the whole purpose. Thinking about returning it. UPDATE: Amazon sent me a replacement and this one worked better out of the box. However, the initial one is now better once I set a couple of thin felt pads under the front of its perch to raise the motion detector sensor slightly. Now it is roughly as good as the new one ! So I have revised my review and have given it four out of five stars instead of one. And having the two of them side by side and saying the same crude phrases in unison is actually kind of funnier.

Put the batteries in turned it on, nothing happened. Left it sitting on the kitchen counter and a few hours later I walked by and the thing had woken up and started working. It’s been working ever since and it’s very funny. A little hard to understand but heck what parrot isn’t?

I got this from my construction worker Husband, who likes watching parrot videos on YouTube. I could not believe some of the things this parrot would say. Definitely not able to show my grandkids.

According to others in the company, this parrot can replace HR in most industries...I said most not all. Great conversation piece with others for those that encounter Polly for the first time.

Love the way it swears when people walk past. Great entertainment, lots of laughs for a discerning audience. Can be used as an alarm or no go zone as the cat is startled/frightened by it! Get ready for a belly laugh.

It stopped working a week after we got it.
