Can I mount this bottom up, via screws, for example to a sideboard (and through a hole for support)?

Dear fellow shopper, All though it's not pretty clear, but I will share with you how I used this product. I utilised this to mount from a ceiling, it was a false ceiling so we cut through an whole in the gypsum board and made a square frame out of C channels to support hanging and mounted the bracket top plate into the channels. This was done cause the slab/ceiling was too high. If you have a concrete ceiling I suggest mounting directly with anchor bolt. The bracket strip to attach TV are quite flexible, and can adapt to the style, surface and pattern of holes on the TV you have. It's a good product, I am sure once you have it with you, you will figure out how best to utilise for the purpose. Cheers, Aziz
