Has anyone actually fallen with the belt on? I want to use this to keep me from flying off the end in case I do. I have an iffy knee and ankle.

You can see my answer to another similar question here also, but the basics are I have been using this belt for 2+ years. I have movement disorders affecting my arms and legs and my right knee has been surgically repaired five times due to sports injuries and I weigh 240 pounds. I have fallen on a number of occasions and this belt has caught me and prevented me from being thrown off the treadmill every time. I give this product a 100% endorsement.

Will this work on a ski machine instead of a treadmill?

We had an email from a customer had an issue holding on to her treadmill due to arthritis/carpal tunnel and her treadmill has no handrails. Her waist size is small but we suggested to get it large in order to have enough length to work with. We hope this conversation will help future potential users. Use with caution. Customer: I was so happy to find your product — until i realized uh-oh I don’t have front handles on my treadmill. Then, I saw you answer a question about that & it said to email you with make & model. I have a Vision T80 commercial grade. The handles are on the side rails. I temporarily rigged up a sheet by wrapping it around the side rails and then the vertical rails and it’s sooo clumsy. I have arthritis/carpal tunnel so unless I’m secured, I can’t really use incline or higher speeds as I’m older. Then she emailed us back after she purchased the belt. Just wanted to let you know - it works! It actually didn’t work on the heart rate checker handles but on the side rails and i tied something to prevent it from moving off the side rails. On the heart rate checker handles it just slipped off & couldn’t be prevented. I’m all set & love it and am so grateful! Thank you!

Will this work for running at full speed? For example at 7 to 10 miles per hour? Does it allow you freedom of movement of arms and hips while running?

I usually walk about 3.7-3.9 and it does an awesome job. Really makes me feel secure. The belt is very well made. I would think it could help you at a faster pace. Good luck. Dwight
