This is the best least I have gotten for my two German Wirehair Pointers. At 2 and 3 years old, their energy, drive and strength give us quite the challenge and prior leashes have given them too much freedom for training. Using these for short walks has given me encouragement to keep on leash training

I needed a leash that was short and easy to grab to get my dog in and out of the car safely at the dog park. There's no stretch to the leash but it's got a comfortable handle and has been extremely durable and sturdy for when my pup is excited to go play! I had to put my puppy on a short leash, and this one did the trick. I read the reviews, and I am not disappointed. It is durable and does the trick. You have heard the saying to put him on a short leash. Well, I did.

Its really good, but a bit lower quality than pictured. The handle is comfortably lined and works well. Not ideal for training, your dog needs to have good loose leaf walking before you use it. Its a good size, but occasionally my dog gets his paw stuck through it. Okay color, same as pictured.

The saying goes; "Keep 'em on a short leash!" applies to this perfect gadget! I walk my dog daily at a park 'without a leash' since I bought this. I use a harness on my dog especially for in the car. I hook her to a dog seat belt strap for in case of slamming on the brakes in an accident. Since she wears a harness, a leash works best as compared to a collar. And this Leah is perfect for me. My dog is under control through verbal commands and doesn't need to be leashed in order to walk with me at my side. However, when people are approaching all I have to do is reach down and grab it while we walk since I keep it attached to her harness at all times. So basically she's 'on a leash' and complying with the Rules of the Park. (Dogs are to be leashed at all times and under control) This short leash provides optimum control especially if you have a reactive dog when other dogs are nearby. The shorter the leash, the more control you'll have if your dog pulls! This solves carrying a leash and having to put it on and off when it's necessary to have your dog hooked up at certain times.

I have had this leash for my service dog for about a year now! It has lasted so long and is still in great condition. I would definitely buy again. The thickness is perfect, as well as the length. You can allow the dog to get a tiny bit ahead of you, but it still keeps the dog super close! It’s perfect for training and having a short leash but not too short. The padding for the handle is very comfortable. I love this leash!

Well made, but a little short, would only suit if your dog is at your arm level when standing. I use it and wrap it around the seatbelt on the car.
