**All I can say that this cooler is beyond amazing!!! I had 10 packs of beef sausage breakfast pattie’s, 2 small yogurts, and a pack of shredded cheese, along with 4 ice packs. I had a 2 1/2 days trip home. Kept the meat frozen wrapped in foil until I left and when I got home it was like it was left in a refrigerator. I was able to eat the meat immediately and freeze the others. Both the cheese and yogurt were still cold. I travelled by train so the weight of it was 27.5 lbs and although it was extremely heavy, I didn’t have any fears of tears or rips so it was very sturdy!! Especially with handling it with the other luggage I had. Best purchase ever!** I am going out of town and have to bring food back. It will be a 24+ hour trip back home. I wrapped frozen (round) hamburger meat in aluminum foil and placed in this cooler (with no ice or ice packs) for 24 1/2 hours. Didn't open it at all. When I checked on it, was soft was still very cool touch. Just enough time to throw in the freezer and not go bad. I was really surprised that it held up so well and did for 24 hours. I did not test how many drinks could actually fit in this bag, but I feel it would do the job I need it to do for my travels. I will leave an update when I come back! :)

Great cooler! Keeps things cold and the cooler is very light weight.

I purchased this cooler to take to a NASCAR race. For my fellow motorheads, it met the criteria for entering the grandstands at RIR. For everybody else, this is a solid cooler for 2-3 people. I was able to fit 6 cans, 4 bottles of water, ranch dressing in a small container, baby carrots, two packs of sliced cheese, and deli turkey in this cooler with ice on top of it all. The cooler really kept the ice cold. After about 7 hours in the southern April afternoon/evening there was still ice remaining in the bottom and the food was clearly still chilled. While the 24 hour claim is probably based on there being ANY ice after that time, I had enough ice when I got back to the car that I dumped it into a decent pile without more than 0.75 to an inch of water (having started with a half bag). The strap did not dig into my shoulder during a half mile walk fully loaded. The top has about another inch of clearance from zipper to top, which really helps pack in some extra ice. No problems with leaks after 4 months of use. My only gripe, and this is completely subjective and personal, is the flap in the top. It is well secured with Velcro all the way around. I just don't see how small constant air entry/escape is better than opening the zipper, removing a beverage, and closing it. Perhaps science says that is better for keeping the cool in and heat out, but I see it more a convenience. So, FWIW I don't like the flap. Anyways, for a soft-sided, portable cooler you really cant do worse than this one for camping, boat outings, NASCAR, sporting events, etc.

I received the lunch bag fast. This lunch bag is very spacious. The quality is great it keeps my lunch hot for very long time.

Constructed well for me, im not using it to carry ice cubes, i have a real igloo marine ultra soft side cooler for that (which works amazing), but its far to large to be practical for bringing a lunch for work or school...instead im using ice gel packs to avoid any kind of reported leaking. the 16 can version is a perfect lunch cooler, not too big not too small. the zipper is meh, its not the best zipper feeling (kind of catches a bit on one side) in the world but itll work. the inside of the top has a decent mesh pocket that can hold two slim ice gel blocks and i can hold a lunch with 6 of those to keep everything cold for plenty of time. i did not test to see how long it will stay cold as i do not need it to stay cold for more than 4 or 5 hours, which this seems far more than adequate for that purpose.

I bought this for day trips out to the beach several months ago and I've been pleasantly surprised it keeps these as cold as it does, given the pricepoint and its flexible outer shell. It can keep my drinks cold for a solid 24 hours and my ice packs frozen for up to twelve, as long as I'm careful to keep it out of direct sunlight. The flap on the top is EXTREMELY useful for grabbing a quick drink without opening the whole lid and letting all the cold air out. There's also a small pocket in the front I use to store napkins and other dry utensils. Inside, it's massive and can easily store a twelve pack, some food, and a couple of ice packs. It's perfect for 2-4 people, but you won't be packing a four-person lunch if you want a day's worth of drinks. It's also perfectly proportioned for a standard wine bottle to fit with everything else, for those extra-good days at the beach. For the price, I can hardly think of a better cooler to have.

I am updating my review. Previously I gave it 5 stars. It was doing great. But since that review, it has now started to "leak". There is no puncture or tear that I can find. The entire bottom just gets completely wet and if it's sitting on the floor, sooner or later, a puddle of water forms. I am not sure what has happened to cause this. So, I am downgrading to 3 stars because this has not lasted. Previous review was as follows: This has been absolutely the best cooler bag I have ever had. I've had it a few months now. I use it every day. I take it to work on road trips and etc. It's like taking a mini-frig with you. The only downside...the strap on it could be more comfey. It's a little too thin and digs into my shoulder more than I would like.

Pros: 1. Very good construction, materials quality and workmanship - especially at this price point. 2. Keeps ice ALL day long. 3. Top access door is genius. 4. Completely leak proof so far. 5. Zipper, storage pocket, handles and shoulder strap work without a hitch. 6. Best value proposition in the business. Cons: 1. Although storage is very good overall, 30 can capacity may be a stretch (especially if you expect to add ice). Coleman does it again! I own several of their products and none of them have ever disappointed me. And this cooler is no exception. The original “Outdoor Company” is still the best in the business.
