Will it wash king size sheets, blankets and mattress pads?

We wash full king sheets, blankets, pillow cases AND pillows in it. No problems with loads this big, but we add extra water for large loads to help it mix better. We were explicitly told by the dealer that it will handle king bedding without any problems. Never had a problem, uses commercial grade internals. Actually, the only real problem I had was shoving our lawn furniture cushions in it. Now they 'were' too big.(Of which the wife is kind enough to continue to remind me).Now, if you follow the specifications directly from page 9 of the use and care manual, it reads as follows for an Extra Large load:"8-9 shirts, 5 pair polyester pants or 2 queen size sheets, 4 pillow cases, 2 nightgowns, 1 pair men's pajamas or 1 queen size bedspread".  Dropping out all of the other items, (9 shirts, nightgowns, etc) there's more than enough room for king size bedding. The key is load by volume, (not weight). I assure you, we wash our king bedding in this washer without any problems. Has anyone ordered this washing machine through Amazon  eVive and what was your experinece

I bought mine at an independent local appliance store.  I would never buy a major appliance via any on-line site.  I have shopped at Amazon regularly for years and like it, but major appliances are too big to handle if something goes wrong.  In addition, I would not buy at a big box store.  Nobody is responsible for anything.  The store sells it.  A contractor delivers it.  Another contractor asses it if you find a problem after delivery.  Another contractor performs the repair.  You have to take off work for everything because of course they only work M-F, 9:00-5:00.  A local independent is much easier to work with from start to finish.  (BTW, I'm not associated with an independent store.  I just learned a lot living long enough to experience all the possible variations on this theme!)

Question 3

Does the water get hot (as hot as the sink?)  Many washing machines always mix in cold water to save energy.

Accepted Answer

Yes.  When you have the knob at "hot", it is 100% straight out of your hot water heater.  No flow restriction, no mixing with cold water.  I had my plumber turn up the thermostat on my water heater to 130F and it works great.

What is the interior made of? Porcelain tub? Stainless steel? Plastic?
