Just what I wanted
The perfect product for transitioning to free hand sharpening. I've been going through the Sharpening journey for a year plus, starting with a small fixed angle clamp, a bigger fixed angle clamp, wet stone kits and separate stones, and all the thinking about what's best. Transitioning to free hand sharpening just isn't going to happen without an easy and accurate angle guide. The little ones are a joke, and you pretty much have to put them on the stone, so you don't use one end, which accelerates dishing. I made wooden wedges but getting them to height was a constant issue, and getting them wet or covered with slurry was was annoying. This product is primo, it's big enough to be useful, waterproof, no magnets, and it doesn't sit on the stone. Big bonus is the adjustable height so I don't have to mess with stacking things to get the height I want. At this price it's worth it just for stropping even if you use a fixed angle clamp system. I thought having 12 guides down to 11 degrees was silly, but for a flat grind blade you have to subtract 1/2 the blade angle. For a blade that has a 4 degree total grind/wedge, you'll want to use the 13 degree guide to get a 15 degree sharpening angle.

Superior to Square Guides, Cheaper and Easier Than Wedges
They do what they're meant to do, and they do it well. These take up minimal space on the stone and that allows you to make fuller use of the whetstone than with traditional, square-shaped angle guides or wedges. I've only used this a couple times and I suspect that the thin plastic "ramps" that form the actual guide are going to wear down rather quickly. But at the price? With how convenient these are to use, if I get a couple dozen sharpens out of each, I'll just buy another set.

These work
These are good to go. Has one each on each angle but if you use the bases they have a 1 degree offset on the rubber base piece. IE: you can have two of each angle when using the bases. I like to rubber band them to my stones. Just flip the stone. I think the larger ones might be better than the smaller ones, especially for large knives. Useful for maintaining the same angle.

No 15 degree
You would think they would have a 15 degree in the kit since that is the standard for most Japanese knives. They don't.

Angle guides for knife
These allow for ease to find the proper angle to just about any knife. I use them every time I go to sharpen my knife on a wet stone. It allows for you develop muscle memory over time. They are durable and easy to use. The instructions are clear and has pictures to illustrate proper use. I definitely recommend this product even for a more advanced user all the way to a novice user.

AMAZING! Never got a knife so sharp!
I was able to get it razor sharp at a 20 degree angle. This has tremendously helped me keep the angle exact. I highly recommend everyone who sharpens knifes gets one of these. I was also able to get my machete to the correct angle for chopping/slicing. My pocket knife was able to cut paper like butter, zig zag like in the picture, it cut so easily!

Useful for wet stone knives sharpening
Different knives need different angles for the best performance. This little thingy is useful for knife sharpening, gives me an idea of what the right angle should be. I will not use it with wet sharpening stones though, as it is a plastic piece and probably would not last.

Handy little buggers
“These angle blocks are fantastic for anyone into knife sharpening. They help you keep a consistent angle and make the learning process so much easier. You’ll definitely be glad you picked them up!”

It works, but has some corners
Keep into account that the knife blade has some angle (the spine is thicker than the part of blade where cutting edge starts). If this angle is neglected the cutting angle obtained is bigger than indicated by guide. Use 1 degree correction/rubber supplied. Take time: measure your knife specific angle (it differs from knife to knife).

They do the job well.
These do the job very well... giving you accurate angles to build up muscle memory. The lose one star because you probably don't need ALL of these angles - this could have been a smaller, more compact little kit. But if that's not a problem for you - then I'll give it 5 stars.

EXCELLENT. better than I had expected AND as good as I hoped.
The pieces are very well made. Very accurate and tidy mouldings. I’m impressed with the quality of manufacturing AND by the design. The materials used are, clearly, well chosen. Hard and shiny with low friction where it’s needed and grippy non slip where that’s appropriate. Lovely. The SETS (because you do indeed receive TWO sets) are BETTER than the listing seems to suggest. EACH SET contains FIVE different angle wedges (and I mean angle wedges as I’m not referring to the adapter thing which permits two wedges to be combined) rather than the four shown in the pic. With these five wedges one can obtain ALL the angles stated. GREAT! The only criticism I could have made would be of the listing which I think undersells the product.
