There was an extremely pungent chemical odor upon opening the package of this product (made in Pakistan). Thread count is low, creating a thin fabric. Colors bled out of the material after five minutes of rinsing in hot water and hand-wringing. It wasn't until after machine washing in cold water that the odor was eliminated and the color seemed to stabilize. Size is appropriate to wear in the traditional head covering style. Inferior to Rothco Shemagh Tactical Desert Scarf, COYOTE.
