Where is the burdock root sourced?

The root is sourced in China, but of course every batch that we supply is tested for potential microbial and heavy metal contamination, as well as identity by thin layer chromatography to confirm the genus, species, and part of the plant.

Is there powder In capsule? I’d like to open it and put it in tea

Yes it is capsulated, but usually powders in capsules don’t exactly taste good. Never tried it for these by have for other capsule vitamins and such

what is the expiry date

Last order I rec'd exp. date was best by 07/2018...100 caps, re-ordered every 45 days. So, it totally depends on what date you order the product and their stock rotation. NOW is the best brand I have ever found and I am certain that the exp. date is clearly printed on the bottom of bottle along with the LOT#, so should you ever have any issue you should take that up with the retailer.
