Swift response
So... originally this item arrived in a very bad state (thawn, box wet and burgers mushed into each other) but in one very swift hassle free email they resent me fresh ones frozen. The same day so I'm happy again.

First time purchase and will be my last
The packaging could definitely be lighter. Too much for two patties. The taste and texture is mediocre. At this price don’t think I’ll be purchasing again.

Even with LOTS of dietary restrictions, these are a great source of protein.
I have IBS or something similar. My doctors don't really seem to know, but I started following a low-FODmap diet several years ago. These Beyond Meat patties are a staple in my diet. I do not have celiacs, but I have a wheat allergy. So, on top of me being Vegan (by choice), I'm forced to follow a gluten-free, low-FODmap diet. I eat primarily whole foods, very little packaged food. I need protein though and it's hard to find. These burgers do not hurt my stomach/intestines at all! They taste great, pack a lot of protein into my meals, and they're easy to fix. I usually microwave a patty for 30 seconds and then cook in a frying pan with a little cooking spray for about 5 minutes per side on medium/low heat. Sometimes I eat them with some fresh veggies or tiny potatoes, sometimes I chop them up and toss it in a salad. Since I don't eat gluten, I rarely eat these with any kind of bread. They have limited ingredients as far as packaged, processed foods are concerned. They're big and thick, so they're filling, and they cook quickly/easily.

The best plant based burgers on the market!
this is the only plant based burger I’ve ever had that actually tastes like a burger! I had one at a family dinner, and several of my family members were surprised because I haven’t eaten red meat in years… One of my family members took a bite and loved it… then I told the truth, and they genuinely couldn’t believe it! I love the healthier ingredients, the perfect thickness and the high-quality of the product. An added bonus is how easy it is to cook these burgers! While they are more expensive than some of the plant-based burgers, they are not the most expensive either and unlike some of the more expensive plant based burgers I’ve tried, Beyond Meat patties are well worth the extra cost!

Vegan?
these taste good and for non vegans they are quite good. however, is there anything hard evidence proving these are truly 100 percent certified vegan. All products that know that they are definitely vegan will put that directly on the front label. This product contains "natural flavors" which have been animal based of unknown mixtures forever. "natural flavors" traditionally has been a bad issue as the supplier may use plant or animal natural flavors. It is just a bit suspect when the company doesn't proudly put "vegan" on the front label. If you look at most vegan food products on Amazon they put Vegan right on the label. Putting just a little stamp that says "vegetarian society approved" doesn't quite cut it. Too much leeway. Until this company puts "vegan" right upfront on the front of the package I'm assuming they are only "vegetarian society approved" their stamp seems like it would be a lot of leeway out of an argument. So the question is how do we know the natural flavors aren't animal based? Product would be a lot better if they stated "vegan" right on the front. Why don't they? Is it because natural flavors "may" sometimes contain animal? Just asking. They promote heavily the term "plant based" which is often times not vegan. And obv vegetarian is not vegan. For such a large well funded mainstream company you would think they would put vegan on the front of the package and not have some unknown "vegetarian society" stamp. The company doesn't stamp the product "vegan" in any way. They simply state that it is "vegan friendly". what does that mean? Can they certify 100 percent that their "natural flavors" are never animal based. If they do that and mark the product as certified vegan then I'll be a loyal customer.
