Work excellent, used them to take out oxygen sensors

I bought a truck and it had locking lug nuts on it. As much as I would like to say the previous owner lost the key, I have to say I lost it and couldn't find it before a long road trip. I don't know how many pound feet of torque the last installer put these on with but it had to be in the tons of pounds. Yes, I know that is not realistic but they were significantly over torqued. These are very heavy duty and took the locking lug nuts off with relative ease. I had to hammer them on pretty hard but it was super super easy to remove the locking lug nuts. I would highly recommend them. I am not one who doesn't like to leave negative reviews. I will absolutely leave a negative review if I don't like a product or it is not up to par. These are worth every penny in my experience.

I had a downstream oxygen sensor that was NOT coming off. I used penetrating oil and an adjustable wrench at first and only succeeding in stripping it. I bought a 22 mm box wrench for a better fit and used more oil ... nothing. (NOTE: The sensor was so stripped the box end would go on it, but the open end still fit.) I tried heating it with a map torch and used the wrench ... nothing. I saw a video online of a guy in the same situation. He used a similar extractor tool, and he said he was amazed how well it worked. So, I decided to try it. I cut off most of the sensor (using a grinder), heated it up a few more times, put on more oil, and fit the 22mm extractor socket on. It didn't seem to fit too well, but I put the socket wrench on and put an 18 inch pipe over that. The result was AMAZING! The wrench moved easily right away. So easily I though I was only continuing to strip the O2 sensor. Nope. The sensor was coming out! 30 seconds later I was using a pliers to remove the sensor from the extractor socket ... which didn't even show any signs of wear.

My youngest son bought a used 2011 Ford 150 EcoBoost and a few pistons were clapping. Before he paid for the truck, he drove it to a local Autozone for testing. The deficiency code came back with failed O2 censor. So he bought the truck, and we bought a new sensor. Removing the old sensor was a nightmare. Due to the complex location, the sensor's tight space, and the inability to gain leverage even with a breaker or cheater bar, the 18-year-old son stripped the sensor. Live and Learn! Nothing worked when we tried heat, ice, and different wrench impact sockets. So finally, I got an on Amazon and overnighted Topen 5-Piece Bolt Remover Set. I arrived on a Monday afternoon, and we immediately got to work. Due to the tight working space, use an air impact wrench instead breaker bar. I grabbed the 7/8-inch bolt remover socket, placed it on the striped sensor, tapped it three times with a 3-pound hammer, connected the air-impact wrench, and backed the stripped bolt out in two minutes. We installed the new sensor within minutes; that was all she wrote. I never leave Amazon product reviews, but this product needs its attention.
