The only thing I can use to wash my clothes without getting a rash. I have very sensitive skin due to a skin condition and I have to be careful of any and all things that go on my skin from laundry to lotions and I can't do scents of any kind. This is the truly amazingly gentle but effective cleaning choice. I won't use anything else.

I've used this as long as I can remember. I know that "scents" can have pthalates and other bad things that cause cancer or birth defects, and that these things are hidden under terms like "scent", "parfum", "perfume", etc., which are NOT "ingredients;" they are ingredient CATEGORIES, whose actual ingredient contents don't have to be disclosed by law - that's thanks to the perfume industry lobby pushing through rules saying the actual ingredients in the perfume CATEGORY are "proprietary" and so can be hidden from the consumer under a term like "perfume" or "scent". I don't want dyes, perfumes, and other noxious chemicals in my laundry. To avoid equally noxious, poisonous dryer sheets, you can use wool balls in the dryer, and/or vinegar in the rinse. Or you can avoid chemical, so-called "fabrics" like polyester and acrylic, which create static. Nylon creates static also, but isn't as bad as polyester & acrylic, both of which are hot and sweaty. Cotton, Bamboo, and Rayon are fabrics woven or knitted from plants, instead of from chemicals, like plastics, and don't create static. Neither do other natural fabrics woven from the fur/hair trimmings animals, such as sheep or alpaca.

I started using this with my children were babies and I still use it today. Because it cleans well, and no matter what. I'm washing.I never have to worry about it.
