Tussah Silk
Very nice, I look forward to using it next time I make Cold-Process soap. I lends a silky finish to handmade soap. It’s not for Melt and Pour soap.

Great for CP soap
I use this test I silk in the lye water that I mix up for my cold process soap. It makes it have an excellent texture and silkiness to it I would highly recommend it to others and we'll buy it again.

Perfect!!
I bought this Tussah silk to add to my CP goat milk and tallow soaps and I absolutely love it! Not only do my bars have a shinier look, the lather and feel is amazing. This new additive has taken my soap to a whole new level and made them more luxurious. My dandelion soap (pictured) has only been curing for 2 weeks but I couldn't wait to test an end piece. Impressive!! 2oz is a lot more than what I was expecting to get and will go a long way. I'm supporting a veteran by purchasing and I will definitely be buying more from this new supplier. Thank you, sir, for your bravery and for your service to our country. God bless you!

perfect for soap making
excellent price for how much you use comparatively per batch of soap. beware it smells pretty rank when you mix it with your hot lye! but nothing too terrible. makes for silky lovely soap. will repurchase for sure, when i run out in approximately two years.

Breaks down in lye easily
I used the silk to make CP soap. These absorbed well in the lye solution with no little bits left by the time I was ready to mix the lye and oils. The resulting extra softness a silk-infused soap should be is questionable though as I can’t feel a significant difference when I use the soap but it does have a soft feel overall.
