Works fine with my Ring camera
This is a solar 5v USB charger. When in the sun, it will charge any USB chargeable item I have (BT headset, Kindle, etc). The solar charger for my Ring camera (note: NOT doorbell) stopped working so I was bringing the camera indoors for an overnight charge using a 1 amp USB charger. It's a big battery so it takes a while to charge. Using this StartVision panel, I simply plugged it in to the camera and set the rubber weather seal included and it keeps my Ring camera charged up to 100% always. The only negative is the shorter cable length. Note: The Ring solar charger for the camera is out of stock, otherwise I would have purchased one from Ring.

Reliable power for security
I bought this to power my fortress security wireless security camera. Even though after charging the camera, after 2 months the camera was at 50%. Not bad, but having to go on a ladder and take it down to charge I decided to buy this solar panel. It's been great so far, keeping my camera at 100% after charging. It comes with a 9' cable which was more than enough to plug into the location of my camera. It's a mini USB plug and fits into the waterproof compartment underneath the camera. Now, I don't have to concern myself with charging again especially in the winter with snow on the deck. It's located for maximum sunshine collection and it is well constructed, lightweight and waterproof. Got it for under $25 also. Great buy. By the way, it's 5v output which is what the manufacturer of the camera stipulates it must be to charge.

Dead ☠️ on Arrival
I kept it outside all day - Specifications indicate it SHOULD support the cameras 📷 I have - nothin!! Cord Length and Efficiency is NOT WORTH IT VALUE FOR MONEY - not worth the 10$ Quality I can’t speak for since it’s not powering Battery Life is good as Dead ☠️ waterproofness isn’t a topic because it is not functional Cord length is just right but useless at this time

Super easy to install, works as advertised, charges wireless IR camera
Purchased for solar charging a Conico wireless IR cam. Panel only took a few minutes to install and charges the camera as advertised. USB cable is plenty long and should be adequate for most installations. Great product, very simple installation. What would be great is if the cable was independent of the solar panel, and not soldered in...I had to replace my first solar panel because rabbits chewed the end of the cable.

100% battery
These keep my outdoor surveillance cameras at 100% charge throughout the year. They are easy to mount and are a great value for the price. The only downside is the cord length is a little shorter than I’d like.

Impressed so far!
I purchased this guy for (2) main reasons...1st - I have a Wyze Outdoor cam and did not want to keep bringing in and charging every 2-3 months. 2nd - this panel is black, the mount is black and the cord is black. My home is all brick - my trim is black and my roof is a gray slate color...putting a white trimmed panel w/mount attached is aesthetically unpleasant. Now, to the functionality. I just received and installed this1-1/2 days ago - my camera was down to 40% charge. The weather over the past (2) days has been gloomy at best, no full sun - but - as I write this review, we're up to 61% with no sun and only 24 +/- hours of use. I'd say that's solid in my books...bring on the sun!

So far not great
Update: The past two days the panels have worked great and charged the doorbells up to full. It’s possible the previous week was just too cloudy to see adequate charging. However, it still doesn’t explain why the doorbells with the solar panels DRAIN 10x faster than the one without. Upgraded to 3 stars.. for now. Will update after a few weeks. I bought three of these for three Ring Doorbell Cameras 2020 2nd Gen. They recognize being hardwired to solar after rebooting if in direct sunlight, think they are unplugged if no sun (which is normal as it only recognizes being hardwired if receiving power.) Since they recognized being hardwired that means they were getting a charge… however, the three BRAND NEW doorbells with the solar panel are draining wayyyyyy faster than the older doorbell on the front door with no panel. The front doorbell is set to higher motion checks and longer recording too. All three cameras were charged to full prior to install. The old doorbell on the front door was charged 2 days prior to installing the new ones, and a week later is at 94% The new cameras are all around 80% after 5 days…. They don’t see as much motion, are brand new, and are set to lower battery usage settings such as less frequent motion checks and shorter recording times. My only suspicion is that maybe the solar panels don’t include a diode that prevents back feeding to the panel - effectively making the doorbell try and “charge” the panel overnight and when there is no sunlight. There’s no reason they should all be so much lower than the old doorbell after a shorter time period if they aren’t leaching power to the panel when not charging. Idk I’m at a loss. I’ll do some experimenting such as testing drain rates with and without the panels, but so far I can’t recommend these.
