These crazy color changing spoons are great! The color change on these spoons is very dramatic. My daughter was so excited when I brought these out for us to play with and use. We tried the spoons in room temp water, ice water, and our favorite.....ICE CREAM! They work great! They didn't change color when placed into the room temperature water. We didn't expected them to but we tested it so our "science experiment" would be thorough. They definitely changed color from a vibrant pink to a deep violet color in the ice water. My daughter really loved making polka dots on the handle with the warmth from her fingers holding the spoons. The spoons also changed color very well when eating the ice cream. My daughter loved when the spoon would change back from purple to pink when she put the spoon in her mouth to eat the ice cream. These spoon are very well constructed and the perfect size for eating ice cream. The little hold on the handle would make storing them together very easy on a little ring clip. The plastic is very smooth and didn't have any rough edges or seams. Experimenting with these spoons with my daughter was such a joy and created a memory that I will treasure for a lifetime. I would highly recommend these to others. I received this product at a discount price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

They work just like spoons and are pretty thick and sturdy. They are 2mm thick and are a bit short of 6 inches long, normal plastic ice cream spoon sizes. I tested it out and they work great. They stay pink/fuchsia in room or warmer temperature, and turn purple when it touches cold things like ice drinks, ice creams, shakes, etc.
