OXO Good Grips Water Bottle Cleaning Set

This is an excellent idea, that has been long overdue in the coming. I have all types of thermoses, and even the ultra thick rubber straws that have benefitted from the use of this odd contraption. I used to bruise my knuckles, wrap pieces of cloth around spoons, and resort to all types of silly maneuvers .....all just to clean a Thermos. It was becoming just way too much of a production for me, and for everyone else. Somehow I happened upon this page on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It is absolutely a a worthy investment. There are three pieces, a very long brush, similar to, if not exactly the same as the standard dish brush. Found in most sinks. However, it does differ in having an extra long handle, eliminating my bruised and bleeding knuckles as I tried to use shorter objects to reach all of the interior of the Thermos. There is also a very cunningly designed, and extremely thin brush, on a handle of medium length, this brush is truly a delight. It's thin, but dense brush portion is a lifesaver fro getting into the tiny ridges, nooks and cranny of all parts of the Thermos. This brush, as mentioned by other reviewers is perfectly designed for cleaning the extra thick straws. But I also found a delightful new use by cleaning the inside of my turkey blaster with it. My turkey blaster looks a lot better than it ever has before, although that might not be the primary motivation for the purchase of this set. The third brush is a quite short brush, with a very nice, thick, handle. This has the rounded, looped, bristle shape customarily associated ( I dislike this association, but it was the only analogy that fit properly.) with The onder verdienste of toilet brushes. It has a very dense and thick covering of bristles, and Will wonderfully clean The Noors and crevices of The lids of thermossen, as Well as The lids of many otter types of containers. This is probabiliteit my favoriete brush, as there are unlimited uses for it. All three of these pieces are bound together by a non-metallic ring, From which rachel piece can be easily disengaged, washed, and placed back omto The ring, with its mates. Another clever piece of design methodologie. This eliminaties that frantic scrambling throughout dragers to fit the correct piece, once iT hasbecome separater from the rest of the set. I speak frequentst of a use for the cleaning of a thermos, but this set is extremely multi-facetten, and quote impressie for the piece Pain. There is Not kuch in my Kitchen that does Not benefiet from the flexibiliteit and versatility of this set. I wish that I had had this years ago. The additionele benefiet of Boeing more easily capabel of removing morsels that could develop intro very dangereuses forms of bacterie clinches the deal for me. I highly recommend this multi-purpose cleaning set, and would suggest that it would most certainly prove beneficial to the aid of netter hygiene in All kitchens.

I wanted a water bottle cleaner for my beast blender because the ribbed inside is kind of weird. I thought this was too much but love oxo and it’s perfect. The bottle brush and straw cleaner are great, but the third random extra tool is what makes this 5. I clean the blades, water bottle lids, just so many things that you would otherwise be shoving the corner of a sponge into. Great design.

I love the long, sturdy handle that allows me to wash even my tall, 1.5 liter water flask. The bristles are strong and scrub well. I also love the little attachments it comes with, since the scrubbing loop works well for the bottle cap and the skinny brush is good for the straw.

This is the first time I've ever ordered the same bottle brush twice in a row. I've been on a quest to find one I liked enough to buy twice and finally I have found one. The assorted brushes is just one of the many great features. The bristles on the main brush are fairly soft but they clean better than you would think. They don't scratch your sippy cups, glass bottles, or anything else you would use it for. The handle itself is narrow at the tip with long bristles which makes it great for fitting into bottles with narrow openings. The handle is designed to be ergonomic so its wider with a rubber grip, making it comfortable to grip, which my carpal tunnel appreciates. The length also makes it perfect for my 32 oz iced travel coffee cooler. Shorter bottle brushes are a pain because of the angle I have to twist my hand into in order to efficiently clean the bottom, and that has caused discomfort on my wrists in the past. I put chocolate in my iced coffee which can be difficult to get off the bottom. The upwards pointing bristles on this brush makes it simple to scrub the bottom. The straw brush is exceptionally long and flexible, so no worrying about it snapping at the bend in metal straws like others I've used! It's packed with strong bristles, ensuring the metal straw will be free of buildup. The round brush fits perfectly around the spouts of sippy cuts, and other hard to reach spots that sponges just can't get to. Finally, its easy to clean my toddlers cups with one simple set, all joined together will little removeable ring! But the straw and round brush also pop off easily.I've got the O ring through the bottle brush next to my sink, so I can just grab them all and use what I need as needed. I run it through the dishwasher once a week to sanitize it. I bought one of these about 3 months ago, and only now is it starting to get a bit worn. Its lasted longer than any other bottle brush I've purchased. I probably could get more use out of it, but I usually like to replace them after about 6/8 weeks anyways for bacteria buildup that may not be killed by the dishwasher. You can't beat the sturdiness, the benefits, or the quality of this set. It's easily worth twice the price.

This comes with 3 brushes 1) straw brush. If anyone is using straws - disgusting 🤮… they will always be gross. You aren’t compatible with me 2) long handle brush for cleaning bottles. I didn’t realize how much I needed this. It is good at its job, but I wish the brushes were closer together & easier to scrub with. I need this though & it does the job 3) tiny circle brush = amazing This is worth whatever I paid for the set. Cleaning all the little inter parts of water bottles is so annoying. This makes them look like new so quickly. I use this every day. How I use water bottles: I drink about 6 bottles of water a day with sugar in them, so mold grows more quickly. I clean 2 bottles every day with the small brush (it is so quick & prevents build up in the nooks and crannies). And maybe once every 2-3 days with the longer brush. I have found the cleanest & less leak prone bottles are contigo 24oz autopop. No straw, no leaks, a lock to prevent accidents, easy to fill/clean, love the handle so doesn’t roll away & I can clip it to backpacks. It also looks elegant enough when going somewhere nice. It is clear so I can see what is inside, etc. Anyway, love the brushes.

Update: I was looking at my set of Oxo brushes and thinking that I have had them for a few years now, and they're showing a little wear - maybe I should get a new set. I looked up my original order and found out that I have been using these pretty much daily for TEN YEARS. An amazing useful life for this kind of product, even for Oxo, a brand that has a well-deserved reputation for quality and durability. The brushes have gotten a bit of squashed bristles, and the white plastic is a little stained by the iron in my well water, but they're still in daily use and always within reach at my kitchen sink. I have twisted and bent the small looped brush in a dozen different shapes to clean all kinds of nooks and crannies. And the price today is only about two bucks more than ten years ago! I'm ordering a new set for the kitchen, but the old set won't be idle - the two small brushes will go to the garage to be used with WD40 or paint stripper, and the bottle brush will go into my garden kit to brush soil off of root veggies. Buy this set. The price for this quality can't be beat. (Original review) Good quality as always with Oxo Good Grips. I mainly ordered this for the bottle brush (does a great job of washing my water bottles) and the skinny brush (I have switched to re-usable straws and needed something to get them really clean), but found that the little loop brush is good for all kinds of cleaning, such as my cats' water fountain and around saucepan handles and knobs on lids. Good value - they don't rust if left in water.

I've been searching for a bottle brush to clean my 16 oz aluminum water bottles as well as my monster SodaPlus 1.2 liter stainless steel carbonating bottle for several months until I came across this set. I have to admit, I was hesitant to spend $10 on a bottle brush but am so glad I did! The big brush worked great on all bottles I tried. (see pic) I was worried it may be too big for the bottles with a narrow neck but the bristles are soft & nimble enough to easily fit. The straw brush worked great on the straight plastic tumbler straws as well as a couple of straws with very pronounced ridges. I've only used the detail brush once after carbonating some juice in the SodaPlus bottle & it cleaned the lid well. I like that the brushes are attached to a ring and the 2 smaller brushes can be removed without opening the ring. I used a magnetic hook to hang the brushes on the side of the fridge so the set is out of the way, yet easily accessible. If you're like me & don't have a dishwasher to clean your aluminum water bottles, I think you will like this set. I'm an extremely frugal (okay, cheap) person & I think this set is worth the money.
