Love this clay cooker! I’m on my third one in 30 years! Can’t find online anymore! Thank goodness for Amazon!

I've used a Romertopf for generations. The first one ordered was damaged during transport. There was no hesitation from the seller, immediately replaced and arrived in Hawaii in record time. This is the first glazed Romertopf that I've had. It helps with food sticking to the base. Don't forget to soak the lid in water. I normally line the bottom with onion rings.

i'm really glad i got this clay pot - the food comes out tasty and the cooking process is simplified. By using much less fat or no fat at all, I will be able to eat healthy and lower my cholesterol levels, hopefully.

Ordered in mid October; arrived mid December after ship date changed several times. The lower piece arrived broken into three pieces. Sending it back seemed like it would take four months so I ordered high temp food safe silicone adhesive and cured the vessel that way. So far so good. Bad marks for quality and crack resistance.

I like it but it doesn’t come with any directions ?Thats not good how do we know how to use or wash .

Best investment for my kitchen. Bakes my bread evenly, it’s amazing for roasting meats and making stews. Highly recommend!

This is a clay roaster, broiler or Dutch oven. Before using it one has to soak it in water for at least 20 minutes (top and bottom), otherwise it is likely to shatter when heated. Also important is to not preheat the oven. Place your dish in the oven, then bring the oven up to desired cooking temperature. Lastly, DO NOT open the pot until the required cooking time has been reached. It is a great German cook ware, very versatile (baking, roasting, steaming, etc.).

Het deksel was gebroken !!!! Heb hem teruggestuurd. Voorlopig nog niets gehoord over terug betaling of vervanging. Jammer !! Er stond zelfs géén breekbaar op de doos die verzonden werd. De pakjes vliegen weg en weer tijdens de levering !

J’adore cuisiner de cette façon. Ma première utilisation avec ce plat a été une réussite...huuum un bon poulet croûte au sel marin et bouquet garni dans la volaille...viande pas sèche du tout...et zéro graisse ajoutée.

Römertopf de belle qualité et de belle contenance. Emballage soigneux, ce qui est indispensable pour un article aussi fragile. Je recommande.
