This product is amazing. Rust stains and discoloration easily disappeared. No scrubbing needed. I barely applied the paste and the stains lifted immediately.

The stain should be light. I tried the product on my pan (under part) thinking it will remove the stain. To my surprise, it did remove the light stain but not the burnt heavy stain. I did wait for 5 minutes, still it won't remove the dark burnt heavy stain.

I use Bar Keeper's Friend to keep my All-Clad cookware shining like new (it does such a great job!) but it was another recent experience that convinced me this product is a miracle worker! We found an old vintage cocktail shaker in a box from my husband's aunt. Along with the most amazing collection of vintage swizzle sticks, but that's another story! The shaker was pitted and stained and we almost threw it out. But it was such a cool item that I decided to give the Bar Keeper's Friend a try, not expecting much since it was so pitted. Voila! It did an amazing job! That shaker, which has to be at least 50 years old, sparkles like new.
