I had the same issue This adapter has non polarized socket I think your coffee machine has polarized plug 🔌 ( one terminal is wider than the other) You need to buy another one

It’s great converter

I only tested with With one of the Ninja Waffle devices, which is an American company, and the voltage in America is different from what it is in the Arab countries, and the device works well and does not make any noise. I will buy another device to help convert the voltage in some of my devices. I highly recommend it.

Serious compatibility issues

I bought this unit for a coffee machine from USA. The 2 pin plug on the transformer does not fit the 2 pin coffee machine plug which has polarized ends. Amazon description did not mention anything about compatibility. The transformer is unused and since I was traveling has no return option
