I was impressed with the quick growth of this grass. I highly recommend it. I used it to fill in spots that had some winter kill. I also used some good black dirt on top of seed and watered as directed and in just a few days had sprouts of green grass.

I have used this a few times mainly because my female dog leaves burn spots on my grass if I don't watch it and spray with water immediately. I also use it to overseedThis is great seed and grows fast it's very tolerant even for being new grass.I don't have much patience for growing so it works great and even though I block the patches with tomato cages im inpatient about the mowing so I now over the area still and it stands strongIm in colorado and recommend it

I see tiny grass sprouts growing yea. It seems like a low number of stouts per seed but these were used in large bald spots in my yard. I am trying to reseed a yard that’s too many weeds, I have broken up the ground and added a light coating of enriched soil.

People who are saying this grass seed is weak and doesn’t work haven’t taken the extra steps into growing it properly.Grass seed doesn’t grow in if you aren’t watering properly, letting it dry out during germination or haven’t added a top layer to it.This is my before and after pictures. And here are 4 steps into assuring it grows in right.1. Thatch where you want to lay grass seed and remove dead grass2. Lay grass seed and fertilizer if you wish (I would)3. Lay grass seed4. Cover generously with Pete Moss and water throughly for 10-14 days. Do not let it dry out while it’s growing or it will kill the seed2 different lawns I have used this seed and followed these steps. I thought being a branded item this would be what I needed. While I agree that it is grass, there is absolutely nothing rapid about it, and the seedlings die if it gets windy. It was below average, get something else

This is an excellent choice for fast growing grass! I’ve used it twice when I wanted grass to come in fast. It even grew quickly in a dense shade area under a tree! Little on the pricey side, but worth it in the end! The grass comes in thick, green, and beautiful! You have to do your part though with the watering!

After putting RG seed down and treating spot areas on my lawn in the spring, I seen a lot of new even spread and even growing little sprouts, and I was excited to see new growth, and it ended up massive amounts of weed and hardly any new grass, and now my lawn looks much worse and is now needing weed-be-gone. Its been more work tending the weeds then before using the RG. Untreated areas where I didn't use RG, does not have weeds. I've used other grass seed brands in the past and never seen this amount of weed cultivation. Where some grass blades did grow, blades are thin, Not a hardy looking blade of grass.

Purchased July 12 and 4 weeks later it is 4-5 inches tall. Loves the heat. Watered frequently to establish. Will fill in spots with more. Worked great for us and the grass is very soft. Happy camper.
