This is an excellent set of ceramic knives - color coded handles & covers, stay sharp a looong time and reasonably rugged. Yes, you can break them (or any ceramic knife) but ours lasted 6 months aboard our sailboat and we bought another set for my Mother-in-Law.

Very nice set, knives stay sharp for a long time, clean up easily, etc. They are more fragile to sideways pressure than a steel knife, so keep that in mind

I have had a Kyocera brand ceramic knife and it was sharper and smoother. But, these are quite sharp for most any purpose. Frankly, I got them after watching a YouTube by a real expert in knife edges and sharpening who praised ceramic knives for cutting cardboard for miles and miles before getting dull. And, that's what I'm going to use them for. Prefer my steel knives for food prep and other things. The handles are super comfy and the sheathes are a nice touch. Had these for a year now. I am sure they are good for many things but I use them to cut up cardboard. Each one lasts me about 6 months of a lot of cutting. The handles are super comfy and grippy. Among the best handles on any knives I've owned.

I am very pleased with these knives. I never had, even my sharpest metal knife, slice through tomatoes like any of these in the set can! So smooth!! However, take care because it's easy to break off the tip. My fault for being careless when trying to shake off some food and banging the tip of the smallest one on the metal sink divider. Still cuts wonderfully!! Truly, I never knew how much I needed these!

I purchased the 4-Piece Color Ceramic Knife Set with Sheaths, and unfortunately, one of the knives (the 3" paring knife) became defective in less than a year, despite being carefully hand washed and carefully handled. When I reached out to Amazon, I was told the return window had closed and to contact the seller directly. It took multiple follow-ups after the first seller contact , the seller finally responded, only to reiterate the standard 30-day return policy and redirect me back to Amazon. There was no acknowledgment of the issue outside the return window, nor any effort to resolve it. Overall, the product did not meet durability expectations for basic home use. Disappointed with both the product durability and the lack of customer support. Would not recommend based on my experience.
