Their other product has on board controller, which makes that one much more user friendly. This one, however, requires you to install their software, and it works. However, sometimes I get connection issues with their software. The simple button controls are not bad, but they are primitive (brightness, simple color change). Battery life is quite good, once you charge it, you will not have to charge it for a while. So one charge lasts beyond what you are using it for (photography, lighting for videos, etc.) Pros over their other product: (+) Waterproof (+) This is slightly longer than their other product. Cons: (-) Controlling mechanism (This is why I deduced 1 star)

I’ve been using the P120 RGB Light for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to tools for both photography and video work. The brightness is impressive for such a compact handheld light, 1350 lumens is more than enough for fill lighting, accent lighting, or even creative effects. The color range is where it really shines. The full 360° RGB spectrum lets you dial in just about any color you can imagine, and the presets make it easy to switch moods quickly without digging through settings. The app control is a huge plus. Being able to adjust brightness, color temperature (from warm 3000K to cool 5750K), and lighting modes directly from my phone saves time and keeps my workflow smooth, especially during shoots where positioning matters. The CRI ≥95 is noticeable too with colors come out accurate and natural, which is critical for professional-looking results. I also love how versatile it is. The 12 lighting modes add a creative edge (great for background effects or stylized shots), and the waterproof design gives peace of mind when shooting outdoors or around water. The built-in rechargeable battery holds up well and lasts through extended sessions without needing constant recharging. My number one biggest issue with this light is the ‘APP’. Tuya is the name of the APP. This is a Bluetooth device. A Bluetooth device!! The APP requires a network connection to function. It will NOT pair without an internet connection. The APP WILL NOT FUNCTION WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION! The most recent update of the APP will not even find the light to pair with it! Without the APP this light is practically useless and the APP is THE WORST DESIGNED APP I HAVE EVER USED. I HAVE CURSED THIS LIGHTS VERY EXISTENCE BECAUSE THE APP IS SUCH A NIGHTMARE TO USE! I say this again. It is a Bluetooth light. A simple easy to use Bluetooth APP to control this light is all this product needs to make it a fantastic tool for photographers and any other situation you can think of that a big bright color changing light would benefit from. But until they come up with a simple direct easy app to use with this light, this light will forever be one of the worst purchases I have ever made! Battery life? Good. (Use the wall plug that comes with the light. Using another will likely not work. Takes a while to charge). The single button interface is mildly functional, you can cycle thru preset modes/colors, long press will change brightness high to low and back. Remote is useless. Haven’t tried the waterproof claim. The APP IS USELESS. All there is to it. One star only because I can’t give it ZERO.

My pictures came out awesome!! I do a lot of abstract art and bought this light to enhance my photos to give them a different lighting affect. I like the lights because they are portable and comes in a very nice secure case. I got a tripod that I use for the light and I like that it came with the bracket to mount to it and I can rotate it and adjust to any angle. Battery life was pretty good lasted about 5 hours which was nice since I do a lot of work outside and sometimes I don’t have access to electricity. I like that it has a usb charger as well so I can always charge it with a portable battery if I need too. It comes with the remote to turn it on or off but I prefer the app because you can a lot more control over the colors which is a great feature. Ordering a few more to add to the collections and looking forward to getting creative with my art

Like others, I loved these lights and they have held up spectacularly well, until all of a sudden, on the same day, BOTH of them stopped charging at all. I tried multiple cords, multiple wall blocks, multiple outlets, even different locations entirely, and nothing helps. I reached out to the seller for support and have not heard back

Had these for a year now. They have LONG lasting battery life but Take a long time to charge. Also very durable. I’ve dropped my lights countless times on accident and still work like new

Ordered 2 and 1 of them would not stay on while using remote or app. Once I got to try out the working one, it was fantastic. Great lighting easy to connect and use!! If the replacement come in and works as good as this one, I will be ordering more for my photography business!
