Pyramid Talking Clock

I have used a similar clock for 25 years and it still works. I find the talking alarm sure to wake me up. It is easy to set for whatever sound you want and easy to set the time. I travel with it, however, you might want to remove the batteries before packing as it usually starts talking when the items shift. It has good durability and the display is easily seen. I found this alarm clock to keep very good time and the batteries last in this clock. I would highly recommend anyone to buy this type clock,---it's not only for the sight impaired. It's so easy to just reach over to the nightstand in the middle of the night and hit the top and hear what time it is without having to look. Great product.

The snooze is easy enough - just tap the top. But what about when you get up for the day? You have to switch the alarm OFF completely with a tiny switch on the bottom of the alarm clock (not easy to accomplish with bleary eyes in the dark, especially where there are many other tiny black switches on the bottom for other purposes!). If you manage to get it right, the switch turns it off permanently. So if you forget to switch it back on, no alarm for the next day. Also, it runs on batteries only, so hopefully the batteries don't die without you noticing, then you have no alarm. I wish I never wasted money on this, and the seller has a very restrictive return policy (10 days) and since this was a gift, there is no way to return it now. Do not buy!

easy to set time and alarm, easy to understand voice. Only drawback is that digital display is on the bottom rather than the side. Otherwise, it works great.

Wonderful clock. Batteries last well; great design; good clarity, good size and price for the quality; definitely a necessity for someone who is blind!
