Stain your wood first. Stain will not work on glue.

Has anyone used this adhesive on a cracked granite counter top?

Yes, I have used it. The company video shows a 3/4" counter slab cracked in half the 24" way and gluing back together in seconds. I have not tried that, but I have used it to glue corners and chipped bullnose. I have glued broken 12 x12 granite tile back together many times with no problems.

Better than Gorilla glue?

Not sure. Works faster than Gorilla glue. I used it for holding trim pieces together before I finished screwing them together.
