Lipper International Wood Salad Servers for Tossing and Serving Salads, 12" x 2 1/2" x 1/2", One Pair, Oblong, Acacia

These are very sturdy, well designed and made of very nice wood. They do a good job mixing and serving salad. The only negative is that one of the utensils had some white spots on the back that don't wash off.

Great wedding gift! Very well designed and looks good quality!!

Good quality. Go great with wooden salad bowl.

Sometimes life takes you in strange directions. Take these Lipper Internation 1188 Acacia Oblong Salad Servers for instance. I had stopped by my local post office box to grab my Amazon delivery and put these salad servers in my jacket pocket in anticipation of making quite the statement while serving my friends a delightful arugula salad. My recipe calls for a little lemon juice, some olive oil and pepper, but you can make it however you like. At any rate, while on the way home from the post office my eye doctor office called to inform me that my prescription glasses were ready for pickup. Happy at the prospect of being able to read the road signs once again and see at distances of greater than 2 feet or so, I made my way to the doctor's office, salad servers in tow. Being that I didn't yet have my new glasses on and needing to use the restroom, I mistakenly entered an exam room to find a lovely young lady who greeted me with a friendly, "Hello doctor!" Too embarrassed to admit my mistake and excited to prove myself in a medical setting, I extended my hand and greeted the patient. Not exactly sure what to do next but not wanting to seem unprofessional, I retrieved the salad spoon from my jacket and covered one of the patient's eyes, alternating between the left and the right and asked her to read the chart on the wall. This went on for about five minutes before the real eye doctor came barging in, demanding to know just what I was doing. Imagine my chagrin! After a fair bit of sputtering and backpedaling I explained that I was just looking for the bathroom and got swept away in the moment. Long story short, my mother's admonishments that I'd never become a doctor rang truer than ever, and now I'm no longer welcome at the Family Eye Care Center. I'm also no longer able to use these salad servers as I find the constant reminder of my shortcomings too much to bear, however I find it unfair to lay blame on the nice people of Lipper International, so 4 stars.

Perfect match to my new salad bowl

Great for salads, and even more. Perfect size for the servings

I bought these salad servers here on Amazon. Although they are lightweight and seem to be made from balsa wood, they work very well and are easy to clean. I've seen others posting that they're not sturdy and they break but that has not been my experience. They are lightweight and I wish they were a little more solid, but at this price point they get the job done. I would recommend buying these if you are on a budget but just know that they are very lightweight. Overall, a good pair of salad servers even if they aren't as solid as I'd like.

Works great and works even better

Very happy with these

Does the trick, makes mixing and serving salads very easy! Also love the wood look and material. It has some protective/waterproof coating which makes it smooth to hold and helps maintain the quality.

Buen producto

Muito funcionaisbe de boa qualidade.

Haven't used these much yet, but I was pleased with the smooth, even finish and the size and weight. No complaints. Will see how they hold up over time, after being washed and used multiple times.
