The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm

At the beginning I didn't like this balm because it had a very thick consistency which did not melt on my skin which meant lots of skin tugging, HOWEVER, one fine day I read the back unintentionally and realized I was using it WRONG! Here I was ignorantly thinking I've used balms before so of course I knew how to use this one... You actually have to wet your face first, and then massage onto your face where it gliiides and removes everything makeup, sunscreen, dirt...etc., then emulsify, then wash, then proceed with second cleanser and so on, et voila! Beautiful product!

Love this product....very gentle to my acne prone skin. No break-out plus affordable😍😍

Good consistency and removes build up and makeup well. But has a slightly weird smell.

Bought it because it was the cheapest cleansing balm available at the time and for someone who didn't wear makeup at the time, this was worth its price even though my eyes got really cloudy (seems to be common w cleansing balms). But now that I wear makeup it's really ahrd to work w. The amount of aggressive rubbing it takes to remover eyeliner makes my eyes sore and it absolutely cannot remove mascara. If you're not big on eye makeup then this product is fine (for removing sunscreen n stuff) but I will not be purchasing it soon. Also if you don't live in a warmer climate (went camping once) then it'll be really hard to work w thus cleanser cuz the product hardens inside the bottle, on the other side if it's hot then it melts and oil squirts out.

Absolutely fantastic for my dry skin. The first time you use it you’ll understand the comments of the feeling of it not being washed off but it soaks into the skin. Honestly I don’t feel it at all after my second cleanse my skin just loooves this stuff. I think the process for this is fantastic and Inkeylist has my heart. I’ve noticed more moisture in my skin, my barrier is being replenished. My face started healing almost immediately. Cannot say enough good things about this. It does say to use damp hands but I go on dry and rub a little water if needed. I wait until all the little beads are dissolved and go in with my water based cleanser (Burt’s bees sensitive wash)

I just love it! It cleans my skin without drying it like other products. Update: Still loving this balsam! Does it leave a film on the skin? A very fine coat that feels like a shield for the skin to keep the necessary moisture in. I have sensitive combination skin with rosacea and this balsam, paired with a good day cream and SPF or night serum, it just makes it ...glow! No irritations, no dryness, nothing! The one negative I find is the pricing, compared to the original price but maybe this is due to Brexit?

I've had a few products from The Inkey List and loved them all, this one is no exception. A really great everyday cleanser that I can use am and pm. I actually got this as a cheaper alternative to the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm and it's amazing but quite pricey. This is a great alternative... the texture is slightly different but still great and there isn't really a scent which is good for sensitive skin but doesn't make it a little less luxurious. It's also really good for taking off makeup and leaves your skin feeling clean, well balanced and moisturised. I just pop a small amount on the high points of my face and mix with a small amount of water to loosen then rub in circular motions... I then use a flannel or muslin cloth to remove the excess or sometimes leave on for a little while as a hydrating mask. Definitely will be buying it again and would recommend buying it if you're not sure about it because it's so cost-effective too.

Ich liebe diesen Balsam!! Von allen anderen habe ich immer eher noch unreinere Haut bekommen, nach diesem hier fühlt sich meine Haut absolut gepflegt an. Ich gebe zu, Mascara-Reste werden nicht zu 100 Prozent entfernt, aber das nehme ich dafür in Kauf.
