FASTFERMENT One Step No - Rinse Cleanser 16 OZ Cleaner, 2.5 Ounce (Pack of 1), White

I have used this stuff before and it is very good. Cleans and sanitizes in "ONE STEP" just like the name says. I do also spray bottles and buckets with another no rinse product just to satisfy me that I have done what I can to defeat a skunky batch. I recommend this product. PS It is a no rinse cleaner. That means that the sanitizer is not rinsed off the surfaces with tap water.

no matter what others may say about this product I can say it works great, we have used it to bottle over 30 cases of beer and no sour beer. We use it as directed on the product and just stir it in good to dissolve it. we soak all item we are using for a min or two and soak the bottles for a min and let them drain in the dish washer racks right before bottling. Great product and its time to re order again.

Worked as advertised. Had no issues when I used it for bottle in my wine. I would definitely buy again.

Using this product is a lot easier than sterilizing bottles with hot water, and a lot faster than waiting for a (no soap) dishwasher cycle, wondering whether the water really got right up into the bottles.

The washing machine can end up like the "dirty kitchen sink" and we often forget to clean the cleaner. These packets in the washing machine do the trick ! well worth the price paid.

I made the mistake of purchasing under the assumption that it was a sanitizer. It does work as an effective cleaner, however it leaves a thin film residue, so despite it being "no rinse" you really need to run another step and then SANITIZE with Iodophor, Star San or even household bleach. Let my mistake help you and happy brewing!

Great price for a full 16 ounces of cleaner. I've used it twice now and it works great. The instructions say to use one tablespoon per gallon of water, so this should last through several home brew batches. Get a bag and be ready for all your sanitizing needs!

This is a very good Cleaner for your brewing equipment. Super easy to use in any auto siphon, bottle filler, carboy or whatever you want to clean. It also gets rid of the fermentation and alcohol smell that otherwise tends to linger in containers with small openings for quiet a while. Just to make sure, it is NOT considered a Sanitizer by trade. It does release small quantities of hydrogen peroxide while dissolving in water, but it is not enough, if you need to fully sanitize your equipment. If I remember correctly the FDA does not classify this concentration / solution as a sanitizer, so if you want to use this product as cleaner / sanitizer combination, do so at your own risk.

It is hard to determine how good this cleaner is on a carboy because it is transparent. However, there was some spil on my countertop (onyx, a white stone). Few days later I have noticed white spots on the countertop and realized that the cleaner did that. So, my otherwise white countertop wasn't that white... now planning to clean the entire surface of it.

It takes about a tablespoon per gallon, so not that much. It dissolves and takes about a minute of swirling to fully dissolve, even in warm/hot water. It's an oxygen cleaner, which is actually good for brewing because you don't need to rinse it, and the yeast needs oxygen initially when brewing. I suggest cleaning with regular detergent first, if the fermentation vessel has crusts that aren't cleanable with this solution. Overall, does the job well.

Product works and is a good price for cleaning our home brewery.
