I have a houseful of Kasa Smart light bulbs (both color and only white) and have been very pleased with their performance and ease of use. NOTE: I didn't rate the "Alexa" integration as I have Google Home devices linked at home and these bulbs work perfectly with Google. Setup is a breeze with the Kasa app available in the Google Play and iPhone stores. Turn the light on initially and it blinks 3 times indicating it's ready. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home wi-fi. The app allows you to control the bulb with millions of color shades, you can also created schedules for on and off (complete with instant or gradual on and off), and you can choose presets for percentage of brightness and color temperatures. Integration with Google home is seamless. Simply open the Google Home app and "add" a device. The bulbs will show up with no room assignments. Simply follow the Google prompts and add the bulbs to a room in your home. Some of the Kasa bulbs I have are well over 3 years old and still perform as well as when they were taken out of the box. Sure, you can get cheaper Chinese knockoffs, but I don't think anything beats the quality of the Kasa Smart brand (which is made by TP-Link which is a wi-fi company that has been in business for decades). I highly recommend this line of bulbs and switches. They always perform consistently.

I like this product. I have been using this for a while and loved how it connects with Alexa. It also has an dedicated app for those who do not use Alexa. You can turn on and off, control brightness, color from the app.

Kasa is one of the best smart home brands out there. Their products are super easy to connect, and I've rarely had any issues with them losing connection. They do cost a little more than some of the cheaper brands, but I honestly give them a pass because of the quality, reliability, and how easy they are to set up. If you're tired of fighting with smart devices that won't stay connected, don't hesitate to buy Kasa. It's one of the best brands I've used.

Fairly easy to set up, app is nice and convenient but its a little bit finicky. Had a whole lot of trouble trying reset one of the bulbs after i had initially set it up to test if it works and then removed the device thru the app (i didnt need the second bulb at first but then later got a second lamp). At first i thought the bulb shorted or something and was busted for good bc it wouldnt light up after screwing it in. I barely noticed it flash on for a literal half a millisecond only one time out of the several times i tried plugging/unplugging, switching on/off, screwing/unscrewing lol. Went into the app for answers and finally got it to work again, through trial and error, but it had a lot of connection issues that were really irritating. After it finally connected it asked if i wanted to reset the bulb to factory settings and i clicked yes in hopes it would get rid of the problem. Works good now, thank god. Was worried i wasted my money😅 Time will tell how long the bulb actually lasts, I’ll probably update the review several months along the line. Another thing: the adjustable color wheel in the app is extremely finicky, not very responsive, and annoying to try and use to adjust colors in general (let alone micro adjustments). It flickers a lot between regular white light and the colored light and sometimes just the wrong color (specifically WHILE adjusting the wheel, NOT AFTER you pick a color and leave it alone). For example: trying to get the deep red color it flickers between pale red and white light then orange/yellow and white light or pink/purple then white light, then briefly to the deep red, even though im just barely moving it only on the reddest part of the color wheel 😭

Connecting them to my home network was as easy as typing in my Wi-Fi password, and they were good to go. No complicated hubs or extensive troubleshooting required. Keep in mind as others have said, be sure your phone is connected/using your 2.4GHz wireless network during the installation. I couldn't be happier with my decision to try out the Kasa Smart Light Bulbs. They've added a touch of modernity to my office space without burning a hole in my wallet. The cost-effectiveness, combined with the effortless setup and customizable lighting options, makes them a top-notch choice for anyone looking to upgrade their lighting situation.

I’ve swapped my whole house to Kasa bulbs. We just keep repurchasing and swapping to these as the older expensive ones lose the compatibility. These are excellent and easy to pair to the app and in our Google homes.

So, I started filling my home with the plugs then came the bulbs and having Alexa turn them on/off change colors was really cool until after an electrical storm (week) they almost all stopped working. I tried resetting them a few times one here & there and finally gave up! I finally got a message through to TP-Link customer service and one of the Higher Ups phoned me and we walked through some steps and the question kept coming up regarding my router since I had mentioned these just almost stopped in their tracks after our week long storm here in TX and I had already had my internet provider out 3 times and 6 calls into when TP-Link stated if this and this is happening, but not this then it's obviously a router problem. I place a new call in to my internet provider even after the 3 Techs already told me yes there is a new router version out, but yours is fine and why fix what's not broke-right! Well, the 4th Tech came out I explained my FRUSTRTION of not having my lights or plugs working and he immediately said you need the newest router and so that is what he did and even waited for me to try reconnecting a plug here a light there and what do know-they all started coming back to life! Thankful for the Tech that knew what the heck he was talking about, but seems to me to be Router problems if you are having difficulties with any of Kasa/TP-Link products bc I love them and do not want to go to another app/replacement of everything! I love it but I did have a problem having it linked to Alexa and it was my fault if you have AVPN on your cell phone you do want to disable it and then it won't ask you for your Wi-fi password and then it won't work with Alexa so I went through a lot of hell trying to get it linked after that had to do it all over again otherwise now that it's up and running it's wonderful it's technically easy to install but it doesn't warn you to disable your VPN

Deceptive ad, does not mention the voltage is not suitable for 220v (the standard voltage in the UAE and is still available on UAE amazon). After purchase I received an email informing me of this this and recommending I use a voltage converter. By this time it was too late to cancel. Proceed with caution.

Compre estos focos en su precio mas bajo que vi segun keepa (400+ pesos por el par) y me anime a comprarlos. Comparado este precio vs los "sin marca" que venden se me hizo bien. Los focos van a la perfeccion, funcionan bien, tienen buenos colores y brillo suficiente/equiparable a 50/60w de uno regular. Mi queja es que una de las dos unidades presenta un constante zumbido ligero y agudo, leyendo otras resenas veo que es 'normal'. Me encanta la integracion con GoogleHome, y su app de Kasa es sencilla pero con buenas opciones. Probablemente compre otro par si los encuentro en descuento pronto.

Un poco tardado en emparejar ya que tienes que hacer una cuenta con su app, verificar correo, etc. Pero ya cuando lo haces queda de 10, los colores son muy nítidos, los 800 lumenes pareciera que son mas, ilumina bastante, perfecto para una habitación.

The build quality feels solid, and it has been reliable so far with no connection issues. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and a convenient upgrade from a regular bulb.

En general bien. Compre un paquete con 2 ambos funcionan; puedes escoger color, luz y brillo. El único problema es que uno de los dos se desconfigura y después de apagarlo vuelve a prender en los default settings
