Will Primos himself hand-selected a team, with a combined turkey hunting experience of over 100 years to design this series of tukey hunting mouth call he's named "Hook Hunter." These calls are made with premium gauge reeds which are precision-cut by hand. Review: Great sound, Love the yelp rasp! Primos for the win!! - Absolutely love this call!! Review: Good quality, raspy mouth call - This is one of my two favorite mouth calls (the other being the Ghost cut 2 inch hooks). This call is fairly easy to blow and works well for those who have a center or right airflow. By moving tongue pressure/airflow to the right of the call, you can get clear kee kees and tree calls, while calling down the middle gives a clear front end breaking over quickly into a raspy yelp. These work great for my style of calling and have definitely gotten me some responses from birds. While any of these calls will likely be great for aggressive yelps, cutting, and cackling there have been some inconsistencies in the two I owned. The top reed cuts were just a bit different and one was just as easy to do "the soft stuff" of purring, clucking, and whines on as the Ghost cut while the other had a little different tone and was harder to control on the low end. Wish the cuts were more consistent, but a good call nontheless.

very easy to use and it sounds good, but not my favorite primos hook hunter call. I like the primos ghost cut. But this is well worth the money it will definitely call up some birds!

I really hope to use this later on this year. It will be a first for me as I've never been turkey hunting. Very good quality item.
