what color is it after it hides the gray.

My mom has used this product for years. It doesn't actually hide the grays. Her hair did stay naturally black for many years. She is now 50+ and now starting to grey. That could be the Morgans or just really good genes.

For me, the best results is to apply it in the morning after applying a little shampoo.

Will this work for all hair colors?

Yes, because it does not actually color the hair, it just conditions it so thoroughly that the gray hairs become muted and less shiny, somewhat translucent, so they blend in well with the rest of your hair.

Is this item for men only?

No, it is advertised for men but there is nothing in it that cannot be used for women. I am a woman and it works well for me. I think that the only thing that makes it "for men" is the fact that it is a pomade (hair grease) and very few females wear their hair in that style. I use it on my "sideburn" hair, which had gone white-gray and become very wiry -- it smoothed and conditioned it and it blends in much better now.
