30 amp fuse. I use a breaker that I can reset quickly. If you blow a fuse it can be very problematic to fix in the wind or current.

what's the difference between the 10 stx ts and the 10 stx besides the price?

The TS is the Tournament Series. The ONLY difference is that it has a stainless spool and is white in color. It does NOT have a digital screen, preset depths etc. Those features would be in the Digi Troll Series.

Can I use the unit as a deep drop reel for grouper, also what’s the maximum line can it holds?

I know it will go down 300 feet its main use is to bring your fishing pole line down to depths I use mine mainly for kokanee fishing and salmon Grouper are big fish the cable is strong but wouldn't use it with a hook on it with bait. to bring down heaver rod line and bait down to depths this would work perfectly.
