Love this Knitting machine
I purchased a lesser cost machine and it kept dropping stitches and jamming. I decided to purchase this machine and have been very happy with it. Works great even with yarn the other one wouldn't handle. I purchased this to make hats and scarves for snowmen I make. It is a perfect size and just what I needed to make them quickly and at a low cost. The machine is made well and is easy to use. I did watch a few videos on how to use it, plus my experience with the other one helped. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to make hats quickly with little to no effort. Some day I hope to purchase the larger unit for making hats for people.

The Addi is great!!!!!
This is a wonderful piece of machinery. I was surprised it shipped from Germany. I ordered on Sunday and received it on Wednesday here in the US. This machine has weight to it and is sturdy. It is a pleasure to work with. I will definitely get the big Addi, too. There is a huge difference between the cheaper brands and this knitting machine. I am very happy.

FUN, RELAXING & CREATIVE!
I purchased the smaller Addi knitting machine first about 2 months ago to practice and play and to see if the larger one would be used, if purchased. WOW! I made my first stocking cap in about two hours. As with the little version, you have to keep an eye on your work because stitches drop easily if the 'work' creeps up the needles. Just follow the instructions, it is simple but you have to get the hang of it before it works smoothly. I enjoy being able to "knit". Having arthritis, regular needles are just too painful to use after as little as 10 minutes. This is so rewarding if you have issues that prevent the traditional ways....I had to suck it up and accept the fact that sometimes you have to rely on newer technology to continue to do the crafts you love to do. I recommend this product to any one especially those that have difficulty with finger, hand and wrist issues. The crank actually provides some physical therapy action for shoulders too, (MY OPINIONS only...). I enjoy my King Size Addi knitting machine in conjunction with my smaller one, I am ready to create in a whole different way, and I can work on a project for a much longer time.

BUYER BEWARE . . .
This machine was very slow, clunky, and surprisingly difficult to use. It dropped stitches constantly, split yarn, and wasted a lot of yarn. I could have hand knit faster than this machine - and, ultimately, I switched to a 60 cylinder on my circular sock knitting machine, used every other needle, and cranked essentially the same size tube in a quarter of the time. Oh, and BUYER BEWARE: when I returned it, in addition to having to pay the return shipping, Seller charged a surprise $70 “restocking fee” that had never been mentioned at all at any point in the return process.

Addi Express don’t know if it’s worth 189.00
I purchased one before that was used and I supposed it was not checked when returned because it was missing pieces and it even had a recipe written on one of the booklets. I was able to returned it and purchased a new one it also had a couple of accessories missing but I kept it anyway sometimes is easier that to go through the hassle of returning it. I’ve made a few scarves and it works well considering I’ve never used one before. Other than the missing accessories I recommend this product I’m sure there are some products out there that are less expensive and just as good.

The book this comes with is nice quality as well
Recently received this in the mail. It works as advertised. I seen some reviews say they can make socks on this size machine. You can, however, if you use thin sock yarn, theres lots of holes. So, you will want to use a thicker yarn so your piece doesnt have so many holes. The book this comes with is nice quality as well, but I found that You Tube videos were more helpful with learning how to use this machine. I am a crochet and knitter, and found this machine to be fun, but, there is no way to adjust tension so, dont expect to use a thin yarn to make things because then youll have lots of holes in the piece.

Works as intended, except for 1 error
Out of the box, the Addi Express works. It certainly does what is expected even with the steep learning curve. It is not perfect, but for a beginner machine and price it's good. Knocked it down one star due to a clear manufacturing defect/quality control issue. Was able to use beginners luck on one pattern, but subsequently, nothing worked. Dozens of minutes troubleshooting user errors, I started looking at the offending pin. In the image, the pin on the left was the one causing the problem. It isn't even close to the same hook design as the one on the right. Replaced the pin, all is good. Check your pins...manufacturer check your quality.

I have made a few cinched bags for dice holding. The addi is working fine. Plus my addi came a day or so earlier than expected. Thank you so much. I am enjoying my addikingsize as well which I bought from the same supplier.

After watching many youtube videos, this product was easy to use. Just make sure the yarn isn’t too thick and keep an eye when cranking it so stitches don’t get dropped. Got the product earlier than expected!

Wish I had one of these machines long time ago

Received it before expected, very happy with it. It needed some lithium grease out of the box but it runs very smooth. Have used it to make a number of preemie hats and children’s scarves now and it still works great.
