Although the clay does smell good and it feels okay on your hands and in ur hair, the hold is almost not there. I have straight hair and compared to my last clay this doesnt hold for more than 3hrs until it starts to lose its hold. It washes out alright and has a matte finish. Wouldn't really buy this again bc of the hold

I've been cutting my own hair for about 4 years now and used many different hair products. My go-to produced used to be Pacino's Pomade which had a great hold and I didn't mind the high shine finish, but the hold completely fell apart and turned my hair into a greasy mess on a hot summer day. Then I turned to clay products, which tend to offer decent hold without shine. I was recommended Baxter of California's clay pomade. The hold was honestly worthless and suffered the same issues as Pacino's with being outside in the heat. Harry's has a texturizing putty and I gave that a shot for a while, and while the hold was decent, it falls apart after it dries out in the hair. Finally I found Goodfellow & CO's texturizing fiber, blue sage and tonka. This product used Kaolin clay which has a really strong hold and has a natural finish that looks like you're not even using product. Even after working outside in the sun and drying out, it still held the hair to shape while looking and feeling like it wasn't there. That product was discontinued and that's when I found Blind Barber hair clay which also uses Kaolin Clay. It's almost identical to the texturizing fiber I had been using with a nice coconut scent. TLDR: Strong hold, natural finish, and stays with you all day. Best $18 I've spent and there's enough product to last 2 months easily. Some tips: don't use too much or the product will clump into white particles in your hair. I'm using about a pinky tip sized amount, so use your own discretion based on your hair length. Really rub it around in your fingertips before you work it into your hair. This stuff is a bit tacky and that's normal to achieve the hold, it's going to pull on your hair a bit when you apply it.

I have to say, that this has been the best hair product I've ever used. I have curly/wavy hair. So I've always had a hard time finding the right product. I recently found a product that was amazing but it was hard to wash out of my hair and caused my scalp to itch badly... The good: it goes on very well, this is the first product I've used that the saying a little goes a long way actually is true. The scent is amazing, nice coconut scent that's amazing. It washes off without issue, and holds well. It is also true matte finish which I love because I hate my scalp shinning to show the thinning hair... Yes, I'm the first man to admit I'm thinning...lol The bad: Nothing bad, however the hold isn't strong at all, it does hold your hair very well, I'm yet to test it on a windy day. But so far my hair has held up well with very little product. The horrible: My batting average worsened.... I recommend this product, just do not buy it thinking that your batting average will better...

AMAZING POMADE! Love the smell.. texture, hold, not sticky, not stiff… lasts a long time. Doesn’t take a lot to style. The hold is awesome, and at the end of the day… you can still run your fingers through your hair without any stickiness or film feeling!!!! Highly recommend!!!

This is my favorite hair product. Has a really nice yet subtle smell. Very easy to apply and shape your hair any style you like. Works as advertised as far as hold strenght and texture. Every product I’ve tried from Line barber has been very good and I love all the sense as a whole because they’re nice natural and subtle smells.
