The co-founder personally reached out and offered a warranty replacement when stitching started to fray early on. Material Quality: Feels nice, water-repellent, and lighter than leather. Slim Design: Thinner than traditional leather wallets, yet holds essentials. Color Options: Attractive and modern. Cons Price: On the expensive side. Packaging: Does not reflect the quality—if I saw it in a store, I’d pass. A cardboard slide would help. Card Fit: Pockets are tight; inserting/removing cards requires effort. Over time, this could cause wear. RFID Protection: Limited to certain frequencies. If security matters, consider a separate RFID sleeve. Not Ultra-Thin: Compared to some minimalist wallets, but still lighter than leather. Initial Concerns When new, the wallet felt like a teen’s wallet made in China, with questionable stitching and misleading claims (e.g., “crash tested,” “100% waterproof,” “holds 8+ cards”). RFID didn’t work for my transit or work cards, and stitching frayed after two days. Update After 7 Years Despite early issues, Slimfold’s customer service turned me into a loyal fan, and the wallet has held up incredibly well. It’s still my daily carry, and the material has resisted water and wear far better than expected. While the RFID claim remains weak, the wallet’s longevity and comfort make it worth the investment. Bottom Line: If you want a slim, durable wallet backed by excellent customer service, this is a solid choice. Just don’t buy it for RFID protection.

The height of the bill space is exactly the height of a 50 Euro note, so the edge will ever so slightly stick out. Anything smaller, including $20 bills, does well within the height. The material is like a durable canvas material and it definitely doesn't look fancy, but it's very functional and it has clean lines. Each card slot fits a standard credit card, and can usually have a second added without stretching the material out. There's an ID slot on one side, 2 slots on the opposite, and then 1 slot on each side at the back of the bill space. Even when pretty full, this closes nicely and stays thin. While traveling recently I had 10 bills in it, 2 cards in each slot, and it closed fine and stayed thin enough to easily carry in my front pocket.

The design of this slim wallet delivers its promise. My husband's previous leather wallet was looking pretty thick inside his pockets, so I helped him pare down what was essential to keep and move in to the new wallet. (He was still carrying at least 2 several-years-expired cards.) I like how there are more card slots hidden inside the billfold for whatever is less frequently used. He's happy with the new one so far. The material is the only thing I'm questioning if it will hold up to years of wear. When first opening up the wallet, the material covering the top of the billfold doesn't appear to cover the whole billfold section, and while I believe that is intentional in the design, it appears unfinished to me. This thing that bothers me is only visible if there are no bills in there, and since my husband does carry a small amount of cash, I'm not docking any points for aesthetics

I can’t believe how thin it is. I wanted something for when I wear nice fitted slacks because my regular leather wallet was just making a huge bulge, and this wallet fits the bill perfectly. I started using it as my every day wallet and I can’t even tell it’s there most days. After using it for a month, it’s very durable, sleek, and it fits everything I need. I’m never going back!
