Fantastic upgradeโquiet, efficient, and easy to swap!
I purchased this Evergreen EM motor to replace a failing blower motor, and the difference is night and day. If you are looking to upgrade an older PSC motor to a high-efficiency ECM, this is the way to go.โข Noticeably Quieter: One of the first things I noticed was how much quieter the unit runs now. No more loud startup "clunks" or constant humming; itโs smooth and barely audible.โข Easy Installation: For a DIY-friendly tech or a pro, the wiring is straightforward. Itโs essentially a "plug and play" replacement for most standard furnace or air handler applications, which saved me a ton of time and headache.โข Energy Savings: Since this is an ECM motor, itโs far more efficient than my old one. Iโve already noticed it maintains better airflow throughout the house while drawing less power.โข Solid Build Quality: You can tell this is a high-quality, professional-grade part. It feels heavy-duty and built to last.My HVAC system is back up and running better than ever. Definitely worth the investment for the improved performance and lower energy bills!

Excellent build quality, CW/CCW auto-learn is neat, manual is great.
Not intended to replace PSC motors... but can if you know some basic electrical. Here's how: Motor requires 3 power wires: ground, 230V L1, 230V L2. (or 115V, it'll accept that too). Control requires 2 wires from your 24VAC transformer: common (0V) and 24VAC hooked to one of the speed inputs. If you hook your thermostat C wire (common) to the motor C terminal and hook your thermostat G wire (fan) to the motor Speed5 (or any other speed) terminal then the thermostat commands the blower motor on and you're good to go. Does not use the PSC external capacitor - just remove it. Working great. Obviously high build quality. Very nice motor. The direction auto-learning is impressive. The manual it came with is top notch and answered every wiring question I could have.

Direct Replacement for Blower Fan Motor
Fast shipping, very competitive price and direct replacement for my outdated blower fan motor. Easily installed directly in place of my previous version, including the wiring; so all I had to do was mount and plug in. Save yourself over a thousand dollars and replace yourself. Note, the output shaft was quite a bit longer than the original version I had, but it did not extrude past the fan shroud.

First Motor Lasted 7 Years. Bought Another One.
In 2017 the blower motor in my furnace (AC) stopped working. Knowing that I would pay a small fortune if I called an HVAC company, I figured I would look at it my self first. After removing the panel, a couple of screws holding the blower fan in place, and disconnecting the wiring to the motor (after taking pictures!) I had the fan assembly out. There were a few bolts to loosen and the motor was free of the blower fan. I looked up the specs on the motor and this was the compatible replacement. At the time I paid $270. The new motor went back in place and I have had 7 trouble free years of cold AC in Florida.A week ago I noticed that the fan was running all the time even when the thermostat was not calling for cold air. Something seemed to be stuck on. I first tried replacing some relays in the furnace and checked the wiring and all looked good. Since this motor has the control board inside it, someone in another review mentioned that it was possible for a relay on the board to fail while closed.I looked up this motor again and saw that it was $329. That is really not much of an increase in 7 years. So I figured I would order the same motor again. This weekend I swapped the motor out again and my HVAC system is working normally again. It took about 90 minutes to replace the motor and test everything and the only tools I needed were a set of socket wrenches. This motor is very good value and very reliable. I have probably saved myself thousands of dollars replacing it twice myself. Anyone with some basic DIY skills should be able to replace this motor. Just make sure to disconnect the breaker first! :)

$300 vs $1700 AC Company
Direct match. Comes with several wiring options but for a Genteq it was plug n play. 70 minute install. (Would've been quicker but once mounted i had to rotate the motor 180*). 10/10 would recommend.
