Mineral Fusion Lipstick, Alluring, .137 Ounce

I love the thick Rich smooth feel of this lipstick from Mineral Fusion. There is no clumpy, waxy feeling, but there’s definitely a thick coating. it’s not sticky or dry and Matt. It feels very moistIt’s not especially long lasting. It’s probably the same as most other lipsticks, but I love the fact that it has cleaner ingredients. With my photos and video I tried to show this particular shade of alluring is not the alluring of a few years ago. It’s in the same family, but a lighter shade. The previous one used to be a little more of a pink Rosie wine whereas this is more of a pink Rosie.

So I love Mineral Fusion lipsticks, despite the conflicting reviews. They have great colors, are moisturizing, wear well during a day, are safe for those with gluten allergies, and worth the expense. I’ve been using their makeup on & off for several years. Im trying to get spring ready and am working on finding the perfect pink/ coral mix. I use to love the color Orgasm by NARS, but am no longer able to use it. INSPIRE is closer to what I am going for. Although I did just order Crush. So I’ll do a comparison once I receive it. The color is very attractive. Works well with my skin tone, which is fair with a yellow undertone. I did a test on my wrist with a comparison of colors. But it’s deceptive. And hard to see what those lipsticks truly look like. They appear very sheer in the image but are actually not. Inspire is a medium pink with a coral/ orange undertone. It would probably look attractive on most skin tones. A good neutral that can be topped with gloss if needed.. Not overly bright. I can see this working well for the transition into spring/ summer.

I like that these have fewer, if any, harmful chemicals, but they discontinued my favorite color and added another lighter version.

I’m a fair-skinned Asian with dark brown hair, and Mineral Fusion’s Burst color is my favorite color to wear day or night. It’s a natural salmon/warm pink thrat’s just enough color without being too much color. It can be worn without lipliner, and has just enough thick/creamy texture for good coverage. If your lips have a slightly darker shade to them, this color also balances well against that too. I like it in summer as well as winter months. You do have to be careful about ordering this online in hot summer months, because it can arrived softened which makes the lipstick want to fall off the base as soon as you apply it. Try cooling it off first. I’ve also sometimes found Mineral Fusion lipsticks at Whole Foods, although the Burst color is usually not in stock in stores. I really like that it’s fragrance free and paraben free, and the seed oils and cocoa butter make it moisturizing to reapply throughout the day.

Used the lipstick about four times and it cracked off at the base. No I didn't have it all the way extended or drop it or anything else to abuse the lipstick; it just cracked. It did not moisturize my lips. It was more like paint, sticky before it dries. Obviously the longevity of the product was a bust. In terms of how long it stayed on my lips? The edges stayed long after the rest of the product came off. Was it flattering? Not for me. I'm in my late 60s, so this lipstick not only bled off the edges of my lips but highlighted wrinkles in my lips. Have you ever seen old ladies who look like they missed their lips when putting on lipstick? That's how this product looks on me. Have you ever seen the lips of kids who keep licking their lips and the edges look red and chapped. Me again with this lipstick. I took a picture, but when I cropped it to just show the product, well I thought better of it and decided not to post it.

I think this is a quality mineral lipstick with a good formula, price and color choice. I got this in the color Melon. I would say that is a great way to describe this color that is a warm almost peachy color. Depending on your skin tone it could even pass as a very warm nude. It brightens up my light skin and I think when I have a tan it will look even better. The formula is smooth, creamy, but doesn't slip around too much. I feel like it has good coverage. I love the packaging, it is SO sleek looking. The only thing about this lipstick line is that I wish it was a little bit more affordable. I have tried a lot of the Mineral Fusion products and this is one of the better that I have come cross that is for sure! Check out pictures for the color. Thanks for reading, hope it was helpful!

This lipstick has a feel that is somehow dry and oily at the same time, probably due to the mineral powder fighting with the moisturizing ingredients. That doesn't sound good, but it's not actually uncomfortable, stays on, and isn't sticky, although I find I need to blot it. I blot most lipsticks, however. I bought this in Ruby and Peony. I am reviewing Ruby here. I thought it was a pretty pinky-red shade, and it is, but it is a bit dull. It has slightly greyish undertones (I have olive skin). If you subscribe to the four seasons theory of colour, I'm pretty sure it is a summer lipstick, whereas I am a winter. It is quite pretty, but I find it a little dull on me. The one real issue I have with this lipstick is its scent. It's very strong and not all that pleasant. I don't think it smells as if it has gone bad or anything. It is just heavily scented with a sort of chemical smell I don't like. Worse even than L'Oreal. Otherwise, it comes in a pretty metallic tube that feels heavy and "expensive". That's on the plus side of things. Hope this helps.

Have always loved this lipstick! It is a clean option that stays all day long. It is also very creamy and not too sticky, it is also very moisturizing. I always get a lot of compliments on this color (Flashy) as it is a really good blue/red. This may be my 7th tube of this particular lipstick and color! This also lasts me 3-4 months as I only have to reapply once after eating my lunch.

Yo los compré porque tengo piel reactiva y por eso me fijo más en la composición ; cubren bien, Flashy es un tono bermellon qué se queda más del lado teja que naranja; no son indelebles pero si tiñen muy bien y hay qué re aplicar; si te tallas la boca o comes ;cosa que a mí no me molesta. Yo no les noto un olor peculiar; y creo que varía dependiendo del tono; tengo Molten que es Nude, y también Peony que es un tono tierra; más hacia terracota que al café. Gracias a Amazon por traer Mineral Fusión, los tres son mis preferidos!! Y los compré con descuento!!!

La bala es muy cremosa y el acabado es ideal si quieres algo un poco brillante. Los labios se ven hidratados. Me gustó mucho.

Opened this brand new today and the entire stick is broken off at the base. It's completely un usable.
