Healthy breakfast option
These oats are a great balance between texture and convenience. They cook faster than traditional steel-cut oats but still have a hearty, satisfying bite. Healthy alternative to regular oats. Flavor is clean and versatile—perfect with fruit, nuts, or a little honey. Consistently fresh, good quality and a pantry staple for me.

Good oatmeal.
This oatmeal cooks up nicely. The texture is good and it tastes good too. I will be buying it again.

Hearty, quick, and versatile
Cooks in minutes, texture is hearty. Mild flavor, works for sweet or savory. Big canister, good value — though they seem to overflow in the microwave no matter what I do.

Steel cut oats - but faster
I like steel cut oats, but I don't like how long they take to make. When I came across Amazon Grocery, Steel Cut Quick Oats, that seemed like the best of both worlds plus the price was nice. So I ordered them, and I'm glad I did. These are quicker to cook - not instant, but significantly faster than regular steel cut oats. They have the firm texture I prefer from my steel cut oats, but without the wait. They taste and smell great, too. And the box is pretty strong; I didn't have any problems with it. The bottom line is that I'm very happy with these oats.

Great oats, but poor packaging
The steel cut quick oats are great. I have purchased them before. This time the lid came off in transit and the oat container was completely emptied into the box with other items that I had purchased. I will not be able to use them. Hopefully the package people will secure the lid better next time.

Will use them for sure
Well these are not authentic steel cut as they are considered quick cook that I did not see when ordering. But they have good flavor and are chopped like steel cut but very very small pieces.

Great product, not so great for delivery
Quick-cooking steel cut oats are an essential. They're one of the few healthy cereals for people who need to watch their blood sugar. And unless you want to spend all day cooking breakfast, you need the quick microwave kind. The only grocery store within walking distance of me that sold them, Trader Joe's, stopped carrying them. These oats are available at Whole Foods, for three times the price, and too long a hike from me. If you're on a budget, as most of us are, delivery, with fees and tips, is not an option. So it was a relief when I found this product at a great price here on Amazon Prime. And then this happened: see photos of my latest shipment, where one of the container's seal didn't hold, and I got a cardboard box full of loose oats. Is there any way these can be packed more securely? This was not fun to deal with.
