Fantastic bar shampoos
I love the Honey version of this bar shampoo. (It's great they have about four different versions for different hair types so you can find one that suits you best). I also tried the Aloe version to be a good alternative but this serms to be out of stock too. The honey doesn't make my annoying combination, long hair greasy at the root or dry at the ends. It washes out well and my hair feels soft and silky for 2-3 days. The smell on your hair once washed is clean but not really noticeable so good if you're sensitive to strong smells. The bars last ages, especially as you don't need to run it over your hair a lot to get a good foam going when you rub it in. I've been using it for several years now and have been really happy with it so have it on sub n save but unfortunately it looks like it may have been discontinued as it is really difficult to get hold of at a normal price now (about £3.95 or £3.35 sub and save with max discount). It would be really disappointing if Garnier have discontinued these bar soaps as those who have found out about them and used them seem to really like them but there has been zero advertising that I've seen so maybe that has contributed to it. These are ideal for use on holiday too as they're not liquid and quite lightweight. They do need a draining soap dish so they will last longer and once you have one of those they really do last ages. Also, they don't contain many chemicals like most standard liquid shampoos and great not to have plastic packaging as they're just in a cardboard box so a win all around. I'm just really hoping that stocks will return to normal soon as I dread trying to find an alternative that works for my hair as it took ages to find this which suits my hair so well.

Great shampoo without a plastic bottle
I tried this as I wanted to reduce the amount of plastic I buy, but find out so good I won’t go back to a ‘liquid’ shampoo, at least for as long as I can buy this! It only takes a quick wipe over my (short) hair and it then lathers well. It cleans effectively without leaving any grease or residue and rinses out well. Although it says hydrating it certainly isn’t oily but my hair is soft after. The smell is subtle and doesn’t overwhelm. Because it only takes a quick wipe, I find it also lasts really well - though I’m careful not to immerse it in water as I think this would mean it quickly reduced in size.

Good shampoo
Nice hair soap. Does go brittle and break up which makes it last a lot less than it should. Cleans hair well however and no plastic bottles!

Clean, soft hair, no plastic, smells incredible!
I love this product and am now on my 3rd purchase. It says that it lasts 2 months but my last order was October 2022, it's now May 2023 and I am re-ordering so mine lasted well over that. I originally tried it because I hate the plastic waste from shampoo and conditioner bottles etc so was trying to find ways to reduce my plastic usage. I was a bit concerned at first as my hair takes a lot of cr*p from me - I usually have brightly coloured hair so I bleach it 2-3 times a year, more if the colour doesn't cover my natural colour roots well and I hate sleeping when it's on my neck so tend to wear it in a bun to sleep - so the bar would have some serious work to do. I was very pleasantly surprised though, as it leaves my hair lovely and clean, soft and shiny. It comes in a simple cardboard box and as long as Amazon don't add those stupid plastic air bags to your parcel then it is completely plastic free! Lastly I have to mention the scent. It smells absolutely divine! It has a beautiful, oats-based, and a real homely fragrance that I find really soothing and relaxing so it's perfect for those who prefer to shower/bathe in the evening before bed. A lot of shower products tend to have a more envigorating, zesty scent which isn't great for trying to relax before sleep. This is the opposite and honestly, as a lavender oil junkie this has seriously made me consider looking into trying other relaxing fragrances in my wax melter, it's that calming! My only tiny bit of negativity for this product is that it would be really good if they make 2 products; a starter pack with a small metal tin to keep the bar in and reduce waste from the steam/water melting some of the bar before/after use. It's a weird shape so I haven't yet found a case to fit it. Then refills/replacement bars in just the cardboard boxes can be sold separately for those who already have a case. The other one would be a matching conditioner bar. I have yet to find a conditioner bar that actually works as well as bottled conditioner so I do still need to buy that in a plastic bottle. I'd love a seriously restoring conditioner with biotin/keratin and the same gorgeous scent. This bar in itself though, is perfect!

Disappointing - breaks into pieces part way through
Really disappointed with this product, particularly given that it comes from a world-renowned manufacturer in this specific retail space. I have to say the product quality is really good. The shampoo bar does exactly as it is meant to do. It is easy to use, offering you an incredible lather that cleans your hair, with no irritations and leaving it feeling clean and fresh. It is this part of the review, and this part only that gives stars. My lower-than-usual star rating comes from the fact that when the bar got to about halfway through use, it snapped into pieces, and those pieces continued to further break up each time a piece was used. To the point I was using small 'bits' of the shampoo bar to wash my hair. It would have been easier to throw the product away and start to use another bar. (However, this defeats the purpose of moving bars to reduce plastics and unnecessary waste; further, there was still at least half of the bar still to be used.)

The best all around shampoo. Will never use anything else
I will never use any other shampoos and anything else.. There had been times when shampoos dried out my hair yet did a good job at cleaning my scalp and when they nourished my hair but then made my scalp scaly/flaky. Those problems stopped when I started using this shampoo bar. The bottle formula made my hair greasy and the silicone clogged my hair roots. Never had that problem with this shampoo bar. I've also tried the honey shampoo bar, which is more scented and is good, but my hair became a bit dry. This one is effective and gentle. Its scent is soft and cocooning. Cleans my scalp well and never dries out my hair (waist length, Asian hair). The reviews saying it crumbles fast is because they store it where water can get in and puddle. Just buy the soap dish/tray with drainage, and once it gets so small and crumbly, you can press the pieces onto the new shampoo bar; this way, you don't lose any bits of it.

Best Shampoo bar
I've been using shampoo bars for 6 years, lots of different ones. Some good, some not so good. This is the best I've used and one of the cheapest so sticking with this from now on. It leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy, smells lovely and lasts well.

Very good. If it’s your first time using shampoo bar, your hair might feel weird. It will get better with a little perseverance as it will remove all the scalp buildups. I have normal hair and I have been using shampoo bars for a couple of years now and my hair are healthier than ever. This bar lather very well and smells so good. Also it is very convenient and handy for traveling instead of carrying liquid shampoo.

Hidden gem!
Amazing shampoo bar, they’re really great for my hair especially since the other shampoos I’ve tried dry my hair but this one doesn’t.

Recommended for normal hair
It lathers very well compared to most of shampoo bars. It also smells nice. I understand when people said that their hair are sticky and weird after the first use. Mine used to be like that too. And once it get used to shampoo bars (after a couple of wash) it’s healthier, shinier and softer. It’s been a couple of years now that I have completely switched to bars and I am not planning to use regular shampoo anymore. My theory is that the shampoo bar cleans effectively the scalp, and it needs time to get rid of build ups, thus the sticky effect on the first wash. But I am not sure that this bar is recommended for dry or afro type hair.
