Good taste. I've always bought britta filters before. These definitely make the water taste better. Takes a little longer to filter through. I also tested the water with ph testers and it was between 8 and 9 on the ph scale

I rely heavily on genuine reviews when I am purchasing items for myself and doing my part to contribute to the community. I hope all the fake reviewers understand this better and stop putting fake reviews for the little they are making and do something good the world. This review is for item: Wamery Water Filter Replacement 3-Pack - “ALKALINE: Ceramic”. I normally have acidity problems with boated stomach with lot of gas. I took all sort of medicines, antacids that were of help to some little extent but last 6 months had been terrible for me on the acidity issues. In 2010 I also had endoscopy and colonoscopy as per the doctor to find any issues in my digestive system, doctor found nothing and I was left with no relief and a huge bill. All my body also had inflammation issues in general which didn’t change much during last 6 months but stomach used to feel bloated with gas and inflamed. I tried ALKALINE water 9.5 rated from grocery store that costs around $3.50+ for a gallon. Drinking such water was giving me a better sustained relief. As I am aware of my body’s acidic nature and as a result was searching for some workable water equipment which will give me ALKALINE water. Purchasing alkaline water from grocery store was an expensive affair. Then I started searching for any water equipment dispensing alkaline water, all my research was pointing to install expensive water filters that would have also taken considerable time and effort. I came across this simple solution of having a water filter dispensing alkaline water which is an easy and not very expensive solution. I wanted to check the authenticity of the reviews and checked the quality of reviews on Fakespot.com, I was disappointed to see that this item was and ‘F’ grade indicating worse quality of reviews, the company review grade was also ‘F’, I was pretty much sure that this item won’t be good. Since I had Brita pitcher and this filter fits in Brita pitcher I thought I will give it a try to test the alkalinity claim of this filter. If the product is not good on alkalinity I knew Amazon customer service is great to return the item. I have tested the alkalinity by 2 methods, first with HECOTRAX Digital pH meter and second by Hydrion pH strips. Following are my findings on Day 1: 1. Faucet water: 7.1 pH on HECOTRAX, validated by pH strip to be within that range. 2. Brita Filtered water: 6.6 pH on HECOTRAX, validated by pH strip to be within that range. 3. Grocery store 9.5 pH water: 9.1 pH on HECOTRAX, validated by pH strip to be within that range. 4. Wamery filtered water: 8.5 pH on HECOTRAX, validated by pH strip to be within that range. As a result Wamery filtered water is working good for me, I hope the alkalinity stays like this for the number of gallons suggested on the filter. I hope my review will help someone. Thanks!
