Better than expected.
It feels a bit crude and heavy. On the other hand, it fits my hand perfectly, is easy to open, and it showed up very sharp. Maybe that won't last, but for the moment, I'm surprised by how much I like it.

Great knife, Great price
I usually buy cheap knives cause I am hard on them and I misplace them often. I figured this was gonna be on par with the other ones I have bought off here. Nope this is a good quality knife, I commercial fished in Alaska we use quality deck knives up there made by victorinox and they are really sharp right out the package this was right on par with that. Just like my fishing knives I know its a good knife when I accidently nick my finger lol I did it while opening another Amazon box and it cut it like paper I was not expecting that at all. Great knife I hope it last a long time I might buy a back up.

So nice, bought it twice!
I bought this knife as a gift for my girlfriend. The knife fits comfortably in hand, it feels well constructed and has some weight to it. It only took a week to break in the opening to a smooth transition. Unfortunately the first one I bought was stolen, but my girlfriend loved it so much I bought it a second time. Both products were the same and exactly as advertised. Especially for the price this is a great buy.

Good Quality.
At closing point the metal needs slight filing to close better. Other than that great price great value.

So so? Updated now I love it
Not sure how to rate this. I wanted to be excited about it when I got it. I was excited and then after I opened it they were a couple of things that I noticed. First off I really like one-handed open for my EDC's and this one had a style that I thought would totally work but the blade was so tight that I had to use two hands to pull it out and open it. It felt solid but again I like quick easy open. I also noticed that it was very sharp it felt like it was razor sharp. So that was wonderful. I was able to use a star bit to loosen the bolt a little bit and it worked great but every time I closed it it was offline and scraped while closing it. Again I'm trying to make this knife my perfect ideal knife but I just can't get it quite the way that I want. So Smith and Wesson I really like the looks of the knife and you guys attempted the perfect knife. You're almost there. :-) Update I returned it and exchanged it for another one. I love the look of it though I wanted to give it another chance and I'm glad I did. This new one that came everything lines up right and opens and closes perfectly. It's not too tight. I didn't have to do anything at all it just came perfectly razor sharp and easy to open and close right out of the package.

Highly trained in tactical knife - S&W are one the best for the price
Hi, I have owned several tactical power assist and EDC defense weapons. I have trained many in he military on how to use a tactical knife in every way. And my favorite is the Magic assist Military and Police. But every single one I have owned the belt clip gets loose quickly and break off and I have to have the ability to put on my belt/waist. As a deterrent measure on public busses and in dangerous cities. Especially the angry aggressive look of the Magic assist M&P. One look at that and even the most violent potential attackers will think twice. But max at 3 months 4 of them have gotten lose and broken off. I'll probably buy the next one and have a gun smith weld the belt clip on. So onto the wooden handle product I bought here. I reviewed it several places and many people said too hard to get knife off the belt. Belt clip too tight. Amateur's of course that shouldn't even be carrying a blade. That is one of the most important features you need. Hard to draw. Why? Because if you get into a hand to hand with bad person he/she will pull that blade right off your help and you are done. I have owned now for months an that belt clip is tighter than ever. It's also very appealing visually so you can wear it on your waste anywhere with out drawing criticism. People have said it's not sharp enough. I have no idea what people are talking about mine is plenty sharp. I am not using it for arts and crafts. I am using it as a defensive measure. Gorgeous looking knife.

Heavy, Bulky, and Tight
Heavy blade and very bulky. It’s also hard to flip open and to fold back up. For the cost I believe it’s good value but it’s not the first knife I reach for when walking out of the house. It feels like good quality, just super tight and bulky. I will just use the knife more for jobs around the yard.

All perfect except 2 minor gripes.
Very quality and sturdy knife. It has some heft to it, which with the weight makes the knife feel sturdy in my hand and not like it's going to bend or break when I squeeze it or use it during everyday use. Now to the gripes... Knife was delivered in 2 days and all that good stuff as usual. Was in a amazon box and knife was in a plastic sheath type covering as most items are, the thing is the whole bottom of the plastic was ripped open like the knife had been taken out and was maybe used and then put back in. was suppose to be "new", and me not wanting to go through the return process i just kept it because it didnt look too used or anything. 2nd gripe is the knife doesn't come very sharp at all. At a Glace it appears very sharp, but I tested by seeing If it could slide through paper like butter and fail. So I went to get it sharpened at Westlake hardware for $6.99, which considering the price of $15 for this knife, making it a $22 knife is still a steal In my eyes.
