It can handle 3 more keys on the outer hook. This really protects the key fob, nice product. I have 2 keys on mine.

Don't have a Subaru but my fob is 2 - 3/4 inches long by 1 - 1/2 inches wide and about 1/4 inch thick, fits with room to spare. Case measures 3-1/4 by 2 and about 3/4 thick.
