Cold compression wraps are standard medical products for the treatment of pain and inflammation. Cold and compression applied to an injured joint immediately reduces the risk of further damage from excessive swelling. This swelling can be in the muscles, ligaments, tendons, or tendon sheaths within the wrist. Doctors and Therapists agree that controlling swelling is a fundamental part of reducing long term permanent damage as a result of a soft tissue injury. Improving on the RICE standard of injury care, ColdCure wraps are specifically designed to operate at refrigeration (not freezer) temperatures. This eliminates the potential of skin damage during treatment associated with all freezer wraps. This improved standard is called RCCE(Rest, Cold, Compression, Elevation). RCCE allows for the wraps to be applied to the patient and used while not attended by a physician or clinician. This is very important given the likelihood of skin damage from alternative devices which use cold packs charged in a freezer. The oversized cold packs in all ColdCure wraps contain specially formulated gel with more cooling power per lb than standard wraps. Each ColdCure wrap comes with 3 large cold packs allowing for immediate re-use in clinical settings or the ability for extended treatment durations in the patient's home. The wraps use Rigid Gel technology so that the gel does not flow away from the injured area when pressure is applied. The gel stays in place even under pressure. Yet it is still soft and molds to the body. The wrap and unwrap design allows for easily applying it around a tender, injured, wrist without having to slip into or out of a tube shaped device.

My wife had carpel tunnel on both hands. It is working great for her. I wish that they have 2 sets in the box. I order 2 more for my sister in-law. This product worked! It reduce the numbless and paint in both of my wife hands. Thanks for a good product!

This is a good product for conditions where cold needs to be applied to the hand or wrist. Appreciate having 3 gel inserts for refrigeration.dont put in freezer or they get stiff and cannot be bent.

Great product. Highly recommended.
I am usually leery about any product that says it is "perfect" for any particular thing. However, in the case of this product, I can't imagine anything else that would be closer to perfection. You receive the wrap, itself, plus three inserts that can be put into your freezer. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of putting this on, but once you have mastered the process, it goes on easily. It has been a major help with my tendonitis. I'm glad this product exists. It feels sooooo good when you put it on the afflicted area.

Defective wrist wrap material
Constructed of poor material--had it 10 days and a inch and a half tear developed in the wrist strap!! Unable to use it now the way I had hoped. I reviewed this product with the same comments shortly after my purchase and Amazon never placed it in the product customer reviews??
