Can this be painted different colours. If so what type of paint is safe to use.

I used it for my Reef aquarium to grow corrals on it. Is in salt water, so if used with delicate animals I would not paint it. If you want it for a dry decoration any acrylic paint should do=Toxic for animals.

Can i put rocks in a 12 month old reef tank with live rock in it all ready? i do have a bucket and spare power head and half bottle of atm colany

Don’t know if you’re supposed butI had 4 live rocks in took 2 out and replaced them with 2 large pieces of this rock , gave it a good rinse and my tank is ok , not noticed anything wrong.I’m a first time reefer and it’s 12 months old.put the rock in about 4 was ago . Hope this helps.

What is the best way to cure this for a fowlr set up?

Hi, I used chlorine on this rock and soaked for about a week, I then dechlorinated for a day or two in RO and treatment. Then made sure it was fully dried. Worked well but green algae does love dry rock!
