Worked great on my reef
My phosphates went through the roof and I lost a lot of my corals. Added this and it was easy to set up and started running gfo through it instead of a filter sock. Levels dropped within a week. Going to add another to run with carbon.

Good product
I bought this product, and the pump was very loud at first. I contacted customer service, and they sent me a new pump, which solved the problem. I’m also satisfied with the product—I’ve been using it for two weeks, and it hasn’t leaked even a single drop of water.

I would also like enough tubing to have the reactor under the tank
The pump that was included lasted only for FIVE (5) MINUTES! Now I'm stuck looking for another pump. Another reviewer said that the pump wasn't strong enough. Now I don't know what to buy. Meanwhile....the reactor is set up and ready to go.....but I can't use it. I would also like enough tubing to have the reactor under the tank, rather than behind. It is heavy when it is full and I don't know if I want all that weight on the back of my glass aquarium. Not only that, but there is barely enough clearance to put it on the back of the tank and it scraped the wall! Now I have to add "touch up paint" to my To Do list. Along with having to purchase another pump! (And, they don't give you enough tubing if you want to put the thing under the tank). I'll update this review if I ever manage to get this thing working...... Right now I am extremely unhappy that I spent all of this money and I can't use the thing.

Buyer beware
Works really well however here I am 1 year later and one of the screws is rusted and I now have contamination in my tank that has cause all my soft coral to close, my Montiporia to bleach and some of my shrimp to die….

Well built and fare priced
Ihear people raging the little pump they they give with this reactor ,well there dead wrong it's plenty strong enough to push water up and back through the media. Im Using it for a calcium reactor and what your not I hear people raging the little pump they give with this reactor ,well there dead wrong it plenty strong enough to punch water up and back through the mefia what ever your using. I. Using it for a calcium reactor and what your not understanding is a slow flow filters better than a fast one , that a scientific fact . this reactor keeps my reef up to 425 ppm on calcium with no problem.
