these are so great for babies! my twins are at the age where socks come off almost immediately once we put them on. i was sick of losing socks or finding them in their mouths so we got these. they work like a charm, the boys lost all interest in pulling their socks off once they realized the sock won't budge. my boys are little chunks so i was worried these might be tight for their fat little ankles but the fabric gives really well and we didn't have a problem. high recommend!

Did not work as well as I was hoping. Did make my sons socks stay on longer but he was still able to take them off.

These things are amazing. They seriously work. Size up if you aren't sure. I do wish the manufacturer would make a bigger size for those little guys who are on the high end of the growth chart but still want to pull of their socks. But seriously, buy these and you won't throw away money on lost socks and have a baby with cold feet.

They really work. The only product that helps keep my sons feet covered ( I've tried shoes and booties that claim they don't come off, but my son has always found a way). When these are on he cannot pull his socks off. If he pulls hard enough, the socks will budge some, but they do not come off.

These are a game changer! Sadly I only discovered these with my third child, but now that I have found them, they’re a baby shower staple. These little guys are fantastic at keeping baby socks on! They don’t slip off, the elastic doesn’t cut into baby’s foot, and the colors are cute too! When our little guy stretched his 0-6 month pair out we went ahead and sized up to get through the rest of the winter sock-wearing months. As someone who put my other two kiddos in footie pajamas whenever possible just to avoid losing socks, I cannot say enough positive things about these. Buy them, buy them now!

If your baby wants to remove their socks, these won't stop them from doing that. However, in the general movements of the day, these do help to keep the socks on. But £4 is quite expensive. Durch eine Freundin wurde ich auf die Sock ons aufmerksam und habe sie für mein knapp 5 Monate altes Kind bestellt. Mittlerweile ist es ein halbes Jahr und hat es bisher nur 1 oder 2 mal geschafft, die Sock ons halb auszusiehen. Und das empfinde ich bei sonstigem permanenten Sockenschwund als guten Schnitt. Wie die Passform in einigen Monaten ist, kann ich natürlich noch nicht beurteilen. Im Wesentlichen bin ich zufrieden und wie die Naht unter dem Fuß das Laufen lernen beeinflusst (wie in einer vorherigen Rezension bemängelt), kann ich noch nicht beurteilen. Bisher haben wir diesbzgl. keine Probleme. Ob die Sock ons bis zum 1. Geburtstag halten, bleibt abzuwarten, aber bisher macht das Material einen guten Eindruck. Ein wenig pillt es mittlereweile. Deshalb habe ich auch 4 Sterne verteilt, da sich der Stoff tatsächlich nicht so wertig anfühlt. Die Lieferung erfolgte fristgerecht. Die Idee finde ich wirklich genial und bin gespannt, wie sich die Sockenhalter weiter bewähren.

Ich habe die Sock Ons für meinen 8 Monate alten Sohn bestellt, da bei ihm die Socken durch's Robben, Krabbeln und Laufen ständig rutschen. Auch zieht er sich sehr gerne selbst seine Socken aus. Die Sock Ons kommen in einem dickeren Briefumschlag aus England, deshalb ist die Lieferzeit etwas länger, ist aber zu verschmerzen. Weshalb ich nur zwei Punkte für diese eigentlich geniale Idee geben kann: 1.) Die Größenangabe "6-12 Monate" ist ziemlich gewagt. Wie erwähnt, meiner ist 8 Monate alt und ihm sitzen die Sock Ons so eng, dass ich Bedenken habe, es könnte ihm das Blut abgeschnürt werden. 2.) Die Naht befindet sich unten mittig auf der Lauffläche. Was für ein blöder Quatsch! So kann das Kind nicht auf die Füße stehen, weil es ansonsten auf der (dicken) Naht steht. Auf der Verpackung (aber NICHT hier in der Produktbeschreibung!) steht was davon, dass sie nicht beim Laufen getragen werden sollen, aber weshalb kaufe ich die Sock Ons denn sonst? Das Kind soll ja nicht über seine Socken stolpern beim Laufen lernen. 3.) Das Material habe ich mir wertiger vorgestellt. Mich erinnert das Material an diese Badekappen aus dem Werbemittelfundus der Bank mit dem roten S in den 80ern. Dünn und durchscheinend. Eine clevere Idee, aber in der Ausführung glatt durchgefallen! Säßen die Nähte woanders, wären sie größer und wäre das Material wertiger, gäbe es die volle Punktzahl. Deshalb: Selbermachen statt für (überzogen teures) Geld kaufen!
