Very effective!
I tried this for the first time, and gradually it helped get rid of my headache! Seemed big, but it’s a soft gel capsule and I had no problem swallowing it!

It works!!
This works. Makes you a little sleepy, but definitely helps. Wen you wake up, the migraine is gone.

It took 90 minutes for relief
This product worked fairly well for me. But, it took 90 minutes, and 4 tablets. Also, it relieved around 92 percent of the pain. I have used a full bottle, and the results have been about the same for each dose. This has been my experience with the product.

May not work for everyone
Didn’t work for me after a month taking 2 x per day. Then again, maybe I don’t have typical migraines. Allergist recommended it.

Highly recommend
I think these are great. I take a few when I feel a migraine coming on. They make me very tired, but once I wake up the headache is gone and no “migraine hangover”. Highly recommend.

BEWARE
Original review below. New review: This stuff could literally have killed me over the weekend. I following the labeling instructions and took four caps at the beginning of a migraine, another two caps two hours later. I developed *extreme* nausea and vomiting that got worse over the course of three days despite the Zofran I'm given for migraines. By day three I was having alternating sweating and chills, pervasive goosebumps, felt like I wanted to die. It took me several days to realize that the N/V was being caused by the *magnesium* in the MRN, which has bad, bad side effects at high doses [...]: Presentation of hypermagnesaemia Features include: Nausea and vomiting. Facial flushing. Hypotension.. Paralytic ileus (due to smooth muscle paralysis). Weakness, followed by flaccid muscle paralysis. Disappearance of deep tendon reflexes. Respiratory depression. Bradycardia Complete heart block or cardiac arrest (at levels >6.0-7.5 mmol/L). Investigations for hypermagnesaemia Serum magnesium level. Hypocalcaemia is often present and these levels should also be checked. TFTs and an early morning cortisol test should be performed if hypermagnesaemia is unexplained, recalcitrant or recurrent. ECG. Hypermagnesaemia management Usually withdrawal of the cause, if excessive intake, will solve the problem. It should be preventable by monitoring if Mg-containing medication is being used, especially in those with poor renal function. Hypermagnesaemia can be corrected using IV calcium. The patient should be treated in an intensive care unit with regular ECG and serum monitoring. If the patient has a normal urine output and renal function, Mg loss can be enhanced using IV saline infusions and furosemide diuresis. Dialysis may be occasionally be required for patients with: Renal insufficiency. Severe hypermagnesaemia (>4 mmol/L). Serious cardiovascular or neuromuscular symptoms irrespective of serum Mg level. On discharge, the patient's ongoing medication regime should be reviewed to ensure that it does not include Mg-containing laxatives or antacids. So: Don't risk your heart for a migraine. I'm throwing this stuff out and hope you'll do the same. -------- I'm kind of amazed that this stuff lives up to its promise. I take a fistful of prophylactic and abortive meds for my chronic migraines. I got my first bottle of this yesterday, took four caps when I arrived home with a burgeoning headache, and had relief within an hour and no side effects, which is more than I can say for the Voltaren/Midrin/Zofran cocktail I have from my neuro. Just ordered a few more bottles--spares for the house and one to keep at work. One drawback: It is kind of expensive for what you get, as you can use up to 6 caps for one headache. However, it's still a better return on investment than most of my Rxs and *definitely* preferable to a trip to the ER!
